?????????????????????? Harvey Feud gets six new episodes, than four repeat episodes of the first four new ones. But, that's what GSN should have done in the first place. Air 5 hours of new Dancing episodes every Saturday night, and leave it there on the schedule. The show then would have seen no less than 200K ratings.

Sherriwed has too many spots on the schedule, so I agree. But most of the time at 3AM we will see ratings below 100K, no matter what's on. They could take Sherriwed out Saturday and Sunday mornings, and replace them with Carnie's episodes. But that's all I can think about since Sherri does very well for GSN.

Your question mark key get stuck? Anyway, I should have been clearer. Just keep DWTS to a five or six hour block on one night a week, with no other showings. It wouldn't hurt to make the entire block non-repeating, though.

GSN flew through season 12 of DWTS. The finale is coming up in the next couple weeks already. At least GSN has cut the show down now from 5 airings of each episode to 3, but its still bad.

(Notice the 6:30pm slot always did better than the 6PM slot)
Also, I'll point out from this week of ratings that the episodes didn't do as well as they should have done better if they were aired how they used to be. (6PM- Newlywed Game; 6:30pm- Baggage). That's what they should have done all along. Opinions on that?

Anybody know how well that Steve's Family Feud did yesterday?

I believe the highest DWTS airing came in the 50-60 range. Everything else was unwatchable proving it's not a game show.

50-60 range? The highest DWTS airing was about 364K I think, and the lowest was 54K this past week.

I meant 50-60 in the chart position.

Probably won't know for another couple of weeks until Douglas Pucci posts the March 26-April 1 week.

Highest DWTS ever got was 24 and 25 for the week of February 27-March 4. That's total viewers. No info on demos.

100% people bored with their lives and people who don't like real game shows.

And the ambient temperature of Hell would decrease to -159.86° Fahrenheit. Do you really think that GSN would be willing to fork over the heavy license fees that would be required to air a first run episode [of Dancing With the Stars]?
Oh jeeze, that comment was what's known as humor. That's why I deadpanned the bit about the network's problems being a "lot more manageable" if truly first-run DWTS ever showed up on GSN. Of course, that's not gonna happen in anything approaching the present universe.

ABC is seen all over this country. GSN is visible to maybe 20% of that audience.
Twenty percent? Not close. GSN is available in about 64% of the country's households.

100% people bored with their lives and people who don't like real game shows.
Uh, right. Anyhoo, the only info lately on demos was an assertion at the upfront that GSN is up in 25-54 and F25-54, their target audiences. Can't prove it or disprove it with the published total viewer numbers.

Crossposted some of this chitchat to the blog, with a screenshot of Jerry expounding on Baggage.

64%. That's it? Although I think I already knew that. If GSN let other cable companies air their network for free, we'd be seeing a lot better ratings. That's an issue for GSN

Well, it's not that terrible. The top cable networks only get about 86% coverage. There are a bunch of households that don't have any cable/satellite service at all.

Still, GSN has the same old problems as always: modest overall ratings and generally unfavorable demos.

The unfavorable demos is the reason GSN is producing their own reality/beauty pageant/bible show/cooking shows to get more attention for the network.

But if viewers aren't tuning in. Then they'll have great demos but no viewers. Is that actually better?

Dancing With the Stars in Primetime with under .2 ratings, and daytime with a 0 in the ratings. But a great demo.
