Viewers tastes change and ultimately so do network directions. TNT used to be movie oriented. TBS was....whateve you want to classify them as. A&E used to focus on all those types of things I was never interested in. ESPN used to focus on sports. They've all changed. TBS is primarily comedy driven. TNT focuses on drama. A&E shows CSI Miami and other different types of reality crap. And ESPNs sole mission in life now is to create as many 24 hour networks as they can to talk about themselves. That's my point. If these shows were tearing it up ratings wise in 2009 you'd be right, but if they were doing 300-400k then theres room for demo improvement to make more money. If these game shows were not attracting the demos that advertisers pay $$$$ to woo then change was necessary for survival.
