What's your favorite version of Password?

Well, I was just wondering what everyone's favorite version of Password is. I've made a poll.

Feel free to discuss each version and what you liked about it.

By the way, you can vote for as many as you'd like. I voted for all of them. To be honest, I just don't have a "favorite" version and it's okay if you don't.

I have a real soft spot for the ABC version...I love what I've seen of it, and wish that more of that run was still around for us to enjoy. As far as what is extant, well, anything with Allen Ludden is my favorite. He is Password in my opinion...just like Gene Rayburn with Match Game.

Password Plus

Super Password for me. Mainly due to being more modern and more appealing.

Password Plus, I could do without. Mainly because of the dull grey set with red, yellow and blue stripes; plus the video quality is not as great, and mono sound makes it less appealing for me. Not to mention I am not that big a fan of game shows prior to 1984.

For modern reasons, I'd have to go with Super Password. But I have to like Million Dollar Password since it had the best game play. I just wish it would have lasted longer.

I'll agree. They both gave out a lot of money, and had good hosts. Password Plus and Super Password make the original Password look weak, and I'd rather have GSN show those any day then the original Password.

Super Password, and MDP a close 2nd, which is a surprise because of Fremantle's history with revivals

I'd have to say Password Plus before Super Password, but very close seconds are Super Password, and with time/length changes in the game Million Dollar Password (MDP was held out to long)
