also primetime Weakest Link and Millionaire did the same things as well.
and here's is another pick with the tiny little Hip-Hop stars in their tiny little Hip-Hop squares:http://smackednfo.files.wordpress.co...hopsquares.jpg
Well, it's not like all of the celebs that appeared on previous versions of HS were recognizable to everyone. Nor were they all what you would call "A-list" material at the time they played on the show. So it's not a surprise if not everyone's going to notice who everyone is immediately on this version either, particularly if you're not into hip-hop. I haven't been that into the newest era of the genre, so some aren't that recognizable to me yet. And I'm really questioning Bam Margera's role on the show, also. Unless they're going to be like R&R J! and branch out a bit more for celebs, or if they just want a familiar MTV face to help get the show off the ground.
Celebrities have been appearing on game shows for publicity for decades really. Some were practically brand-new to the entertainment field and game shows were their first big method of exposure. Look at Ray Combs. One of his first national TV appearances after the Tonight Show in 1986 was as a panelist on the Davidson version of the show.

Personally, I thought that was one of the better all-star episodes... even though they ended up producing way too many celebrity themed shows altogether that season.
