I've never heard of most of those. The main one I think of is Melissa.

Yes, Melissa is the spelling that probably 99% have. And we can add Malissa to the list.

In my family it has been a tradition for girls to have names with a "y" in them instead of an "i" for some reason.

Anyway, back to announcer I would who will be the announcer, if GSN hires an announcer for the new $100,000 Pyramid.

Rich Fields succeeded Rod Roddy as announcer on The Price is Right from 2004-2010. He is currently a meteorologist for
KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV. He can also be heard on the radio KRTH 101 in Los Angeles.

your talking about Rich Fields right?

because Rod Roddy passed away in 2003 due to prostate cancer the same type of cancer that did Merv Griffin in his grave in 2007.

    That's a big career change.

I'm glad it's here, but What brought this thread up again?

You might try Wikipedia next time. He's been a meteorologist since 2000........four years before Price.

But you said he is currently a meteorologist. I don't know which would pay more, but I might have wanted to keep the announcing job.

Another top 10 if it was mentioned here: Bob Eubanks (Newlywed Game)/ basically any of the announcer in the 60's or 70's, whom I forget their names. Tattletales reminded me of this
