What was GSN's worst rerun abuse?

Without a shadow of a doubt, the Hidden Agenda/Instant Recall trainwreck. They aired the same episode 5 or more times a week which got irritating up until the end of those awful shows.

My vote goes to Other. This one has to go to Deal Or No Deal. I like the show, but it kept getting shown again and again. Now it has been downgraded, but it got kind of old quick.

Deal or No Deal has been cut back lately, but for a while we've been seeing rerun abuse. At one point the show had 20 airings Monday-Friday, and now is down to 10 during the week and a total of 13 for 7 days.

Lingo (Engvall). I love this show, I truly do, but they ran this into the ground. It was airing more times a week then there were episodes at the time.

Match Game, yeah I could do something other than 74, but it's not the worst thing like some people make it out to be.

If it were only airing once a day you'd be right, but it doesn't. All last year and into the very early part of this year it was on 2 hours everyday. Now it's gotten a reprieve.....down to 90 minutes. Then there was that span of time when for no real reason it was airing on the weekend as well.

Karn's Family Feud gets rerun abused the most. He has only hosted four seasons and they play it five times a day.

4 times a day (9:30am, 4pm, 4:30pm, 1:00am). With the block schedule a total of 27 slots a week. Overall, not too bad but I would like to see the 9:30am slot cut.

Match Game, definitely. As I've stated before, I tape it on Mondays, and as soon as I see the contestants, that's enough for me.

GSN should just leave Match Game to the 8am hour. The 11:30am should be replaced with a cheap lease on something, like what they did with Password Plus/Super Password. I mean why do we still need three Match Game slots?

Out of shows they're currently airing, I'd have to give it to Engvall Lingo. But Neko's example of Dog Eat Dog has to be high up there.

Dog Eat Dog simply wasn't fit for GSN. Maybe a network like NBC or ABC (Wipeout), but not GSN. I could see why it didn't last that long on GSN

I would have no problem with just two airings on weekdays -- again if we had the whole range of episodes.

If we had a range of Match Game episodes, then I could see three Match Game slots a morning (and no more). But for now, my classics wish is Perry/Eubanks Card Sharks back, even if it is the same season as before. Perry at 9:30am and Eubanks at 11:30am. At least we'd have more variety, even if it is just one show.

Easy. Just keep the CBS episodes at 11:30am (74 or not) and put SYN and PM in the 8:00am hour. Makes sense to me.

Honestly, I'd rather keep Match Game in the 8am hour, and see Syndicated at 11:30am, or better yet Match Game PM at 11:30am. If GSN can acquire Match Game PM and bring back Perry and Eubanks Card Sharks in the next few months, I would be very happy. Then beyond that I have more GSN wishes (Dawson/Combs Feud, Love Connection, more $25,000 Pyramid and Password).
