Match Game '74 Match Game '74 Match Game '74

If I repeated that 750,000 times I still wouldn't reach the rerun abuse level they have with that show.

That should should be replaced at 11:30am with some other CLASSIC. I'd even take Dawson Feud there. At least Match Game would only be on twice then

I hate doing this type thing but here's what I would do if I had the money and power to do so:

    8am-Bumper Stumpers
    8:30-Blockbusters
    9am-Family Feud (Dawson/Combs)
    9:30am-25K Pyramid/100K Pyramid
    10am-Card Sharks
    10:30-Press Your Luck
11am-Password/Password All Stars (if they exist) Password Plus/Super Password
    11:30-Match Game 73-79/Syn/PM
    Noon-Chain Reaction
    12:30-Lingo

Sound good.. I would push the 8am hour of programming to sometime later, and just Blockbusters because Bumper Stumper wasn't great, and Chain Reaction still at 3:30pm, even though I know the Woolery 12pm ratings a weak but it builds up to the 12:30pm episodes.(I think too much) But not bad at all.

But Bumper Stumpers lasted for 3 years. I was kind of looking for decent shows that were around for a prolonged period of time so reruns didn't come in a hurry. My way of half hour each show or family of shows run to their conclusion ultimately rests the ones over abused constantly.

If it lasted and did well in the past, the GSN should pick up the rights to it. But I don't know how I did so I can't speak for the show.

But I like the Blockbusters idea. If only GSN would let pre-1990's shows air in the afternoons. God forbid if they do!

They might not even need to do that, but something that would involve a good amount of 70s/80s until 1 or 2, 90s/00s until 6, new shows until 7, and then 7-11 block programming and repeat it from 11-3am.

Yes, I'm using a trick done in the past by other networks who basically rerun the same thing that late to have it in prime time on the west coast also.

It would make more sense like GSN used to do when Sherri/Jerry would air at 6 and 6:30pm and again at 9 and 9:30pm. This also happened again when Lingo aired new at 8pm and again at 11pm and 2am.

Karn's Family Feud gets rerun abused the most. He has only hosted four seasons and they play it five times a day.
