I'm happy to see Dancing GONE, and I hope it stays gone. I just hope they make wise decisions and diversify the game show programming that's already there...no reality garbage, but real game shows.

And if you recall that list of possible shows that came out a few weeks back, that's exactly what ISN'T going to happen.

So, not only did GSN blow their budget on a non-game show that failed, but they want to double down and create more non-game shows that will most likely fail.

Oh, and they don't have the money to make further seasons of actual game shows, or new game shows, or to acquire old game shows, so they have to run 20 episodes of Family Feud a day.

Shows are not stored on videotape anymore. Not when the show debuted, and definitely not today.

Shows are recorded in digital format and stored on disc these days.

As for Dancing With The Stars leaving GSN, I have every reason to dance now.

Hasta la vista, DWTS. You will not be missed.

WOW I'm shocked that they are ending dancing so soon. They leased 10 seasons and only aired 2 or 3 of them (I don't watch the show so have no idea). I'm surprised they are just going to move them to 2AM-4AM like they did with High Stakes Poker at the end or Unstapled.

Glad Harvey Feud is getting a weekday slot. I think 5PM will be fine for it, since the 4PM Karn hour does so good. Should be a nice lead in for the 6PM hour.

Practically no one uses a VHS VCR anymore, but I bet if I told someone to tape a game show for me, they'd know what to do. Same thing here. I don't care if it's tapes, discs, MP4 format video, or stored in the brains of rabid reese monkeys with histories of emotional problems. One dip in the volcano solves all of our problems. They'll be burning up the charts at 7800° Fahrenheit.

And before you go all "Bill Nye the Science Guy" on me, keep in mind I'm a Master's Degree student with a 4.0 GPA, so yes, I know that's the temperature at which the volcano explodes. I don't want even a trace of the show left.

Upcoming Shows: Iron Maiden, Devore, September 13
    Kamelot, Anaheim, September 21

This is all good for GSN, but we're seeing a lot more Family Feud now. We have three nights of it, another hour in the afternoon everyday and then Sunday afternoons it is on a lot too. But, Family Feud is a show I could watch for hours. So I don't mind.

GSN should sell the Dancing with the Stars season 4-14 to another network. They'd make money off of it. Or better yet, sell it back to ABC if they could do that.

Or into the Penguins' locker room at the Consol Energy Center so Cindy and Jenny can work on their techniques.

That's the best comment I've seen since I've been here. Awesome!

Aired two seasons, and I was thinking that GSN would start airing DWTS episodes starting around a time like 11PM and they would go until 4am on a Saturday night. We have a good deal of Sherri and Jerry already, so DWTS could have just moved there. But I'm also surprised it was completely taken off so soon

This. I'm happy DWTS is finally gone, but replacing all of its airings with more Family Feud is not the answer.

Three Nights of Feud every week from 7pm-12am, plus on weekdays, 1 hour of Feud from 9-10am, 2 hours of Feud from 4-6pm, plus 1 hour of Feud from 12:30-1:30am.

Essentially, we're looking at 9 HOURS OF FAMILY FEUD on MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS and SATURDAYS. Does anyone other than me see a problem with that?

9 Hours of a 19-Hour Day are spent on Family Feud. That's almost 50% of the day's schedule devoted to Family Feud.

I'm not complaining. Besides the 9am hour, Family Feud does very well for GSN. If I could take a few slots out of Family Feud for other shows, I would:

    Weekdays
9:30am: Card Sharks (Perry); instead of Karn
5:30pm: Syndie Deal or No Deal; instead of Harvey
1:00am: The Newlywed Game (Wilson); instead of Karn

    Saturdays
5:00pm hour: Baggage (instead of Harvey X2)
    6-7pm: Karn
    7-9pm: O'Hurley
    9-11pm: Harvey

    Sunday afternoons
Shorten it to two hours of Feud...
    3:00pm: Catch 21
    3:30pm: Chain Reaction
    4:00pm: Karn Feud
    4:30pm: Karn Feud
    5:00pm: O'Hurley Feud
    5:30pm: O'Hurley Feud

This way, it would be cut down from the 79 airings a week (starting April 16) to 60. Much better.

I'll say. And it's about time that Dancing With The Stars was gone.

Does it matter what time that Family Feud does well at?

Typically around 3PM-5PM it has done best. Harvey Feud should do well at 5 and 5:30pm, and the THREE block marathons should do decent.

Also, what I noticed about the schedule which I don't like at all is that 5th Grader is now "GSN new" at 6, 7 and 8pm on Sunday nights, but has same night repeats at 6pm and 7pm. The same thing happened with Harvey Feud and those repeat episodes nearly bombed. Harvey Feud will continue to have those same night repeats too, when they should show some of last week's episodes instead.

Or take the whole DWTS library to a junkyard and get crushed by a steamroller.

Good riddance. As far as them having Family Feud 3 nights a week, something I thought of is why not pick up a recent season or two of Wheel of Fortune (2005-2006 maybe) and on Saturday nights do a Wheel/Jeopardy Block.

I know in some markets they do a re-run of Jeopardy and Wheel Saturday Nights at 7:00 and 7:30 but they could wait until 8 to start the block for that night and end it at 1 instead of 12.
