At this point it would not shock me to read or hear in a few weeks GSN is rebranding itself altogether. I am not going off the deep end like an old poster who was banned for posting that type of thing every single day. It just feels like they are doing whatever they can to keep things afloat for a few weeks while they get it together. We've talked about the band aid approach they seem to use for scheduling rather than overhauling it like needs to be. At worst, just taking a step back and saying something like "hmmm, we have Family Feud here. Why don't we have not air here for an hour, since it already is airing 2 hours from now" would be an improvement. I have to think I/we aren't the only ones who see this. They never announce anything. Keep you waiting when announcing things like "oh, Clark will be back Friday night, we are just airing Donny Osmond this week in the daytime. Yeah, we know there's no real explanation for that but that's what we are doing. Oh....we've changed our minds, Osmond is airing tomorrow night also. Clark will be back Monday. Sike! Osmond is on next week now too! Happy Friday!" They just really seem to not know or not care what direction they are going. It makes me wonder if it's because theres no need to since its all about to change.

Hate to say it, but it sounds like they're taking their cues from Hallmark now....where a show can go away on just a whim. "Watched it this week? Hope you enjoyed it (and better hope the ratings are commensurate) or else kiss it bye-bye!".
Also as I'd previously posted, I *hope* this isn't a way to wean everyone off of the "classic" Pyramid in anticipation of the new version (since they might be considering making gameplay closer to that of Donnymid). Can't say the new version sucks if you don't have the original to compare it to anymore! (see "Chain Reaction")

If that's what they want to do, fine. I've noticed that is actually a trend tv wise altogether. Whereas when movies or new versions of tv shows started up, the old ones would be run somewhere on TV also, that doesn't happen anymore. The latest examples, Dallas is returning to TNT this summer and the reruns aren't airing anywhere and Dark Shadows hits the theatre today and the original soap opera doesn't see the light of day either (although I saw the 1 year weekly 90s version is airing somewhere). That's fine. I dont care. If that's what they feel they have to do, ok. Just TELL PEOPLE YOU ARE DOING IT! TELL THEM IT HAS BEEN REPLACED! I don't care if GSN replaced every MG airing now with the 98 version, axed the Paswords for Improv, and kicked Dawson and the other guys Feud out at 9 and replaced it with Harvey. Just let people know its happening and don't sit around saying "ooohhhhh it'll be back next week." That's all.

I don't even have to read posts above. I was wrong, GSN messed up, this (kinda) stinks---meaning Pyramid is on too early and should be placed in a later time slot.
