I personally like Howie. I think he's a good game show host, but he might be getting the short-end of the stick with this new game show.

I don't understand why NBC named it "White Elephant" though. Is someone going to get stomped on by an elephant at the end of the show? Who knows...

Look at it this way. At least it's not another "Howie Do It" type of show. Let's be grateful for that...

    .
I have a feeling this new game show isn't going to last, but Howie was a very good Deal or No Deal host, and I'm glad Arsenio Hall didn't host the Syndicated version and NBC got Howie to do that.

White Elephant? That's the name of Howie Mandel's new show? Pretty cute name and it really fits the show well and I hope it's successful on NBC and you can bet after hearing about Howie's new show I will start collecting stuffed elephants. Right now i'm into collecting stuffed frogs and anything with frogs. All I can say is Good Luck Howie and welcome back to the game show world,
    Vinnie

White Elephant still isn't as catchy of a name as Deal or No Deal, yet NBC didn't create "Deal or No Deal", they had to think of a good name for this and they came up with White Elephant. I don't get how it fits with the show and the scenario

Well, the name White Elephant gives people second thoughts about the show, because that title could mean ANYTHING

Well, maybe it's rare to see a White Elephant these days, since most of them are gray, unless you find one covered in snow. So if someone's flipping through the channel guide and sees the title, they'll think to themselves, "Hmm... I've never seen a real white elephant before, so I'll change to this channel and see what all the fuss is about."

I'm questioning you don't know the term "white elephant in the room".

Mandy, not to be off topic but is that the "roaming gnome" from the Travelocity commercials as your avatar?

Does it have to do with the NBC game show?

There's nothing else that "white elephant" could mean - instead of "room", maybe it's "box".
