I remember whenever I would not be in school during the early 1990's whether I be "sick", or off always turning on USA to watch Clark host Pyramid. Even now I still think that was one of the best host/game show combination there has been. It seemed like he always had fun doing it.

I was hoping that with the new GSN version of Pyramid coming he would do a quick appearance like he did with Davidson in 1991. Maybe when it is up and running they will either dedicate an episode to him.

As far as a GSN tribute I really hope GSN shows some old Pyramid and maybe even Pick up a few episodes of Winning Lines.

i hope that in the fall GSN will finally get their 100k revival up and running to pay tribute to Dick Clark

because Dick Clark was the Allen Ludden of Pyramid as Allen Ludden was the Dick Clark of Password.

again (R.I.P) to both of them

I wonder if MTV will disrespect him by not paying tribute to him?

I have to say, I was sort of expecting this after the stroke. Still gutting, nonetheless.

they probably would because MTV only care about reality shows instead of music.

Let me give a timeline of this afternoon...

At 3:42pm ET this thread was created

At 3:50pm it was confirmed around the world that Dick Clark had passed away

At 3:55pm I posted my first post on this forum

And between those 13 minutes, someone already added on Wikipedia that Dick Clark had died on April 18, 2012 of a heart attack. I can't believe how fast wikipedia can update

    EMPTV...great play on words!

And you're right; if it's not a teen mom or something worse, they don't care.

Yes this is extremely sad news, but of course his greatness and talent will live forever on television.

I'm watching a DVRed episode of The $100,000 Pyramid. Hard to believe he's gone.
