Dick Clark Tribute 4-18 through 4-21

We're very sorry to hear of the passing of Dick Clark. To honor the beloved host, we will be airing a 15-second tribute during all the regular runs of $25,000 Pyramid on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week (starting tonight with the 3:00am airing). In addition, we will be adding an hour of $25,000 Pyramid on Saturday 4/21 at noon, and will run the tribute during that hour as well. All listed times are ET (Please check local listings):

I agree with this decision. I knew GSN would due something like this. I just wish $25,000 Pyramid were on at this time every weekend at noon, instead of the tiring Million Dollar Password and 1 vs 100

Thanks for doing this tribute, similar to what you done with Peter Tomarken and PYL after his plane crash. Stupid doctors killed him they should have prepared for something like that... It did NOT have to happen. They should have taken more care and precautions... I'd sue those morons! It won't bring him back but still they need to be responsible for this.

I like that GSN is giving tribute to him, however, maybe it's just me, but I would personally like to see more, such as perhaps an entire day of marathons, dedicated to programs he hosted or appeared on.

When James "Scotty" Doohan passed away several years ago, SPACE aired a special Star Trek marathon of the Top 10 Viewers Choice episodes that he starred in. And one of those episodes was from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

If GSN did something similar, it would be great! Create a Viewers Choice marathon of the best Pyramid episodes, then air them back-to-back in a Top 10 Countdown on a special day. Or showing Dick Clark in that 1 special episode of Donny Osmond's Pyramid. Or even going one step further, and bringing back Greed (which was produced by Dick Clark) or Winning Lines.

Just now, the Program Schedule lists two episodes of Pyramid from 1-2pm on Saturday after 25k Pyramid. I would think these would be two Donny Osmond episodes, since the title is just Pyramid. If it was going to be 20,000 Pyramid, the money amount would have been in the title, like with 25,000 Pyramid.

Still, Donny's Pyramid hasn't been on in awhile.

If they are showing Donnymid, nice. I kind of miss that show. I haven't seen Dick Clark play the show.

I remember him playing as a celebrity on the Nighttime $25,000 Pyramid when Bill Cullen hosted back in the 70's.

I don't think GSN has access to Osmond's Pyramid right now, but if it's a Dick Clark tribute they wouldn't be showing episodes of Pyramid that aren't his.
