Dick Clark, the emcee of American Bandstand, and the $10K, $20K, (New) $25K, the short-lived $50K, and the original $100K versions of the Pyramid game show franchise, has died at age 82.

Dick Clark also emceed New Year's Rockin' Eve, The Challengers, Scattergories, and the short-lived Winning Lines and The Krypton Factor.

He was also host of the "Rock, Roll & Remember" radio program, which featured oldies from the '50s and '60s.

He also co-hosted TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes with Ed McMahon, in addition to hosting ABC prime-time special presentations.

My apologies for the redundancies: some people are frequent posters/readers of the "Green Room" forum, which is a place for general discussions outside of GSN, and the late Mr. Clark was also a radio DJ, TV producer, and host of several other programs that weren't game shows, such as American Bandstand, TV's Bloopers & Practical Jokes, Rockin' New Year's Eve countdown specials, in addition to being well-remembered as one of the iconic hosts of the Pyramid franchise.
