Heads up: Sony says to watch Wheel of Fortune the next few days

Sony warned Buzzerblog, and then Alex tweeted to watch Wheel of Fortune. Apparently something big may happen, possibly a million dollar win, maybe? You can check out what Alex is saying on Buzzerblog's tweets.

In that case, I'm not going anywhere near that site, or coming back to this site, until after what happens happens.

I'm proud of Buzzerblog right now. Only about 5 out of the 15 articles of the front page are related to the UK

What's so bad about them covering international game shows?

Buzzerblog covers game shows all around the world. After all, it is the Internet, and people from all over the world do view the Internet.

As for the purpose of the thread, I'd say we will be seeing the second $1,000,000 winner on the show, and may be worthy of GSN picking up such season in the future.

Or, if it's not a $1,000,000 win, what I wonder is, is it possible that Pat Sajak may be announcing his retirement? After all, he has been hosting Wheel of Fortune for 30 years in total.

Hard to say what we're watching for. I guess we'll find out today if we have a $100,000 winner followed by a million.

    Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

When you're a reporter, you go where the news is. It's a tough pill to swallow, but the simple truth is that the British game show market is more newsworthy than the US one at the moment... and quite frankly, they're doing better by the genre than we are, on balance. There's no rule saying Alex is restricted to only covering the American market, after all.

I concede the possibility, but I highly doubt that's what it is. A news story that big wouldn't be tossed out there in a cryptic "keep an eye on the show the next few days" Internet nudge. That would hit the AP wire within minutes of Pat going public with it.

Put the odds at maybe 85-1 against, and that's me being generous.

I have a sneaking suspicion that we will see two $100,000 winners in a row. Last night and now Tonight. Bank on it.

The $100,000 win? That's it. I was watching and I thought we were going to see a $1,000,000 win. We had a couple chances earlier this season where people got the puzzle wrong but would have won $100,000

I think it has to be one of three things:

    1. Second $1 million winner
    2. Pat announces his retirement (for later in the year)
    or
    3. Another lame contest promotion.

I don't know which one to choose, but I have a feeling it will be one of these three. Whether it happens tonight or sometime next week, I don't know.

I really belive that if it was a 2nd $1,000,000 win, It would of been leaked before now, same as #2.
