Judging by the casting call, looks like it is open to homosexual couples. Good for them.
Over its five seasons, The Newlywed Game has had three same-sex couples. One in season 2 (Star Trek star), one in season 3 and one this season with Sherri. All two guys, not two girls. GSN actually gives out pretty nice honeymoons. They've got some nice resorts, and their vacations now are 7-10 days. That's impressive for GSN

The Newlywed Game has changed a lot over the years. First from the 1960's to 1999, they allowed couples up to one year. Then in 2009 and 2010, couples up to two years of marriage, and now its five. If GSN was that desperate for couples, I would have made it three years and that's it
Okay, if you go to Svalbard in the winter to make sure it's viable.
There are places where that can happen in five minutes. It will also be featured on the upcoming GSN reality show "I Do, Now I Don't"
