I agree there, I was just suggesting that GSN should make a new season of Catch 21. I like watching the game show but, it gets tiring with the same season.

Catch 21 still airs season 4 at 2pm, where they can still air season 3 (which hasn't been seen in a year), season 2 (hasn't been seen since 2010) or even season 1 (last aired middle of 2009)

I don't watch Catch 21 much, but that sucks if they're showing the same season repeatedly. I guess the different-looking season 1 might be off-limits just like with Lingo, but they should at least be able to air seasons 2 and 3. Really, they have enough episodes in the can that they could do a double-run, instead of continuing to grind the 40 episodes of Engvall Lingo.

A half-hour of Catch 21 is about all I can handle, and Engvall Lingo still doesn't do too poorly at 2:30. Catch 21 right now should at least unlock season 3, but it looks like GSN is just sticking to the 130 episodes of season 4 (which would take 6 months to cycle through the 2:00pm slot)

I think this has been mentioned before. The same thing happened with Card Sharks. You can look at the beginning of the episode and look at the contestants, and then turn it off because we know what happened.

Although there's a difference. Card Sharks got impressive 200-300K+ ratings at 10am. Match Game, which has had worst rerun abuse, gets 100-200K in the 8am hour, and then an average of 150-225K at 11:30am. Still half way impressive numbers

I'm sure if MG and CS switched time slots, MG probably would have the better ratings.

Yes, Match Game at 10:00 and Card Sharks at 8:00.

8am for Card Sharks? That's a little early unless there's another, later slot in the morning. Match Game alongside Match Game PM with new leases would often hit 300K in the noon hour, and Card Sharks (Perry) would see success at 9:30 or 10am. But Match Game right now still does very well in the 8am hour, so that part of the GSN schedule I would leave alone
