Here is some food for thought. I have been banned from World Winner. Why? I asked. The answer I got was because I had multiple accounts. Problem with that is that I have never been on World Winner from any site. They claim that this computer was banned. I don't see how, its brand new recently purchased from Best Buy. They claim I have committed Fraud, yet refuse to give me proof. I hired an attorney to combat Identity Theft. World Winner flat refused to give me a mailing address and the name of a person to address a court document too. They refuse to comply with my attorney's requests. So my attorney told me not to ever play any games with World Winner as they apparently have something to hide or they would be responding.

Just food for thought for those playing on World Winner.

Is it possible that what Best Buy sold you was a computer that had been returned?

I could be possible. This was the only one that I saw and it didn't have a box. They said that it was a demo comp, thus the scratches on the case. Now that you mention it, I bet it is.

Here is an update. First the address that was given above for world winner is an invalid address. Papers came back marked "No Such Address." It was worth a shot anyway.

There was someone that used my screen name, from another site, that opened an account on world winner. They used the companies email address when they signed up. So when I signed up, using my email address, which is the company email, they claimed I was committing fraud. They are also claiming that someone used this compter and ISP when signing up and creating the other account. So I got ahold of Best Buy, where I bought the computer, and found out that it was used as a loaner before they put it up for sale. I was able to play on world winner through GSN until today. Today I went over to play the token games, and got a message that my account has been "temporarily closed" and if I had any questions to contact fairness@worldwinner.com. So I did this. I also told them that I was a victim of Identity theft and the person had been caught. So now I can't play on world winner at all. All because they are linked to several game sites. If you click on play for cash in any of the other sites, which by the way doesn't say it is connected to world winner, it automatically logs you in under the screen name of the site you accessed world winner through. Thus, giving you multiple accounts. Of course they arn't going to do anything to change this action.
