    The Weakest Link Discussion Board

Saturday I had the chance to play an old favorite game of mine The Weakest Link and playing it brings back memories of when The Weakest Link was everyone's second favorite game show next to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Anne Robinson was truly the diva of the show and with her cool attitude today I think she would've been the perfect choice to play Mother Gothel on Disney's Tangled. It's a real shame NBC canceled it after 2002 because I think if The Weakest Link was still alive in TV it really could be a hit game show,

GSN should acquire this, considering how good it was, but it's kind of getting old now. Wait, didn't GSN acquire this at one point?

GSN did have reruns of The Weakest Link shown at the same time as Greed and that's when I saw The Weakest Link when I first got cable at my house and not only did GSN have the regular The Weakest Link episodes shown they also showed the syndicated short lived version of The Weakest Link as well. But why did they replace Anne Robinson for the syndicated version of The Weakest Link?,

I'm still thinking GSN should bring Who's Still Standing to the network, but if there are more networks available in the future.

I think the only times I saw Weakest Link was on GSN, either with Anne Robinson or George Gray. Did anyone ever win the maximum amount of money?

Since it was a short-ran game show, probably not. But then again look at NBC's 1 vs. 100

Yes they did. I think if they put George Gray's 1/2-hour version back now, it may be a good move. Gray is popular again since he's now the announcer on TPIR.

...nnnnnnno he's not. At least not with me. I HATED George Gray on Weakest Link... if I had to choose, I'd pick Anne's version over this.

Perhaps you should practice what you preach, Steve.

I'm so glad to see many wonderful posts about The Weakest Link. Maybe by pure luck GSN will put The Weakest Link back on the air someday. I would love to see that show again,

I miss Weakest Link so much. It was such a great game show and I wish a revival could happen. I read about a possible revival in Australia back in 2008 but not sure if it happened. Would love to see a revival back here in the US. It was a really good game show and it was different from most game shows. The rapid fire questions were the awesome part. I hope networks read this and see people like it. If it wasn't for so many celebrity episode maybe it could have done better. The 2nd season was mainly celebrity episodes.
