Total Blackout does decent numbers

SyFy has posted a press release touting Total Blackout's good numbers. Subsequent ratings published on TV by the Numbers have also been decent. The show's been attracting 1.2-1.3 million total viewers and very respectable demos. I put all the gory details on the blog. With a screenshot of the show's cutest contestant, of course.

My review of the show was lukewarm. It's not terrible, just derivative from a bunch of other stunt game shows over the years. But I'll always have a soft spot for any show that channels the exit gimmick from my beloved Russian Roulette.

That's still pretty good for SYFy considering i thought it was a bad idea for them trying a game show

Last night Total Blackout got SyFy's highest 18-49 rating and second-highest total viewer number. That's just fine for a show which looks like it costs $4.95.
