It would be weird if that were all to happen in the same year. I could see Pat lasting on WOF longer than Vanna.

And Ken Jennings should be the new host of Jeopardy!

as the main host or letter toucher?

and seriously i don't want Pat nor Vanna to ever retire from Wheel it just won't be the same without them.

A woman as the main host would be good, but do we really need a letter toucher on WOF, or is Vanna just the "Shandi" of Wheel of Fortune?

But we DONT need a Vanna on WOF. The show could survive without.

It could be manually controlled. Back in the old days when someone needed to manually set up the board backstage and then needed someone to turn it, then we needed a co-host. But now it's not 100% needed, like Mikki on Catch 21.

On Catch 21 the cards could be turned electronically, but that could look cheap and as if GSN is cheating with it.

Bingo. Games like that need to be done with two people. Personally I think if anyone ever brought back TJW they'd need to utilize the 70s/80s setup. Watch the one from the 90s where the computerized version would stop between two and then an entirely different category or dollar amount whichever it was then would appear altogether. That would evoke all kinds of conspiracy theories now.

Thank you! I have someone agreeing with me on that. We don't need a Vanna but we need a Mikki from Catch 21, so they game doesn't look rigged.

What you say makes perfect sense. Games that involve a "chance" aspect need to have more of a human element to them. I don't gamble but if I did, was a regular at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino here, and went in with the goal to win and not just spend $20-30 and pass the time away I wouldn't play a slot machine that was computer generated. Sure, it may be checked out for regulatory reasons to ensure fairness but you'd always wonder how legit it is.

Speaking of gambling, I think it would be fun if Wheel of Fortune has more gambling come next season. All they have now I believe is the $10,000 slot which could also be a bankrupt slot. (50/50 shot)
