American Bible Challenge casting and video

On its webpage now, American Bible Challenge has already begun its casting call

Just saw the video. Nice to see Jeff reference it as an actual "game show" in his discussion about it. Good video work by GSN as well.

Unfortunately, as usual, Canadians can't apply to be contestants, so I'm out of the running.

Are Atheists allowed? Judging by the Religious Affiliation drop down menu, they MIGHT be classified as OTHER.

That would be a no. Even Wicca, Agnostic, Pagan and any other non-religious stuff are not allowed.
Past Videogame Marathon champions: Michelle Wie, Rob Cesternino, Marie Digby, Quentin "Rampage" Jackson and ijustine.

Maybe they can have Cassius Clay and Lew Alcindor on the 9/11 show.

Looking at the video, it's going to be a "boring" game show, but I'm expecting it to be good, and I could still see that top prize of $250,000 during regular episodes

Well, from the moment GSN announced the title, I had a feeling it wasn't going to be that exciting. It sounds like "Jeff's comedy + Jeopardy-type trivia quiz show with Bible questions".

And then when they announced that people will only be playing for charity, then my excitement level dropped even further.

I'll tune in anyway to see what it's all about, but it seems like it's going to be dry stuff, for the most part.

I just don't like the idea that GSN is trying hour long game shows. If Jeopardy! was an hour would people still watch it? Probably not as much. So I have a feeling that the length of the game show will be its downfall.
