And, don't we also love Wheel Of Fortune or isn't it classic?
Oh, that's right. I almost forgot about that.
Lingofan97, you mentioned Millionaire, as in Meredith's version?
Right now it would be good to acquire the 2009-10 season (Super Mix format), and the 2010-11 format (New format, which boosted ratings). And the 2008-09 season of WOF, but that's still probably expensive. I would rather have GSN spend more money on a modern season of those shows then a crappy early 2000's season
So, no more TPIR leases until it's Drew's version, right? We mentioned it before but he would have to beg CBS and Fremantle constantly to let GSN show his version, am I right about that?
I just doubt GSN would pick up TPIR, unless (somehow) it were to get cancelled, but that's almost never going to happen. Think of game shows right now that GSN has acquired that haven't been cancelled yet, besides Family Feud. GSN doesn't have any modern game shows that still air
ALSO...I should have mentioned somewhere this week that Family Feud took...
7 out of the top 10 slots (70%)
13 out of the top 20 slots (65%)
23 out of the top 31 slots (75%)
35 out of the top 50 slots (65%)
Wow...all for just one show.
When it makes up more than half the total schedule, what do you expect?
I won't comment on Viera Millionaire (I'll simply say I don't watch it), but as far as Wheel of Fortune, as long as it isn't this current season in a lease, I'm all for it.
I think it would be great if GSN acquired a recent season of Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, and Who Wants to be a Millionaire?. It would certainly get the ratings, I think.

They would all do very well for the network, even at early daytime time slots and post-midnight time slots. J! and WOF could probably both air back to back in the noon hour. We are all tired of the current seasons of Jeopardy! and WWTBA Millionaire, since they're old early-mid 2000's seasons which have been cycled through the schedule a lot of times, and are hard to see if you sleep normal hours.
