ABC to Possibly Pick Up New Summer Game Show?

A few days after ABC announced their new summer reality series "The Glass House", it looks like CBS has threatened to sue them for copyright infringement on their Big Brother series. Along with this, CBS has already sent out warning letters to some of the people involved in the production of Glass House, who previously worked on Big Brother, reminding them of the contracts they signed with CBS in the past.

Now, aside from the fact that I'm sick of living in a day and age where it seems like anyone can sue you at any time and for any reason (i.e. see the recent story of the woman picking up a lottery ticket in the trash, winning the million, and then being sued by another woman who claims to have been the person who originally threw the ticket in the trash bin), should ABC decide not to proceed with production on Glass House, it would open up a spot on their schedule for something else.

And I'm hoping it will be a game show. The Exit List anyone? Here's hoping...

CBS technically doesn't own the Big Brother format, they just own the American rights to it. It's an Endemol format, so if anybody's suing, it should be Endemol and CBS. But not CBS on their own.

ABC always creates Summer game shows, but you can check the article on Buzzerblog from about a week ago if this is right. Summer game shows are mainly just fill ins. (Who Wants to be a Millionaire)

I haven't heard of any 2012 Summer Game Shows yet that ABC is going to be airing, aside from, as usual, Wipeout. It's nice to see a brand new game show, even if it only lasts for a few episodes at the very most.

If memory serves, in 2009, ABC's summer game show line-up included: Wipeout, I Survived a Japanese Game Show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Crash Course.
In 2010, it was just Wipeout and Downfall.
In 2011, it was Wipeout and 101 Ways to Leave a Game Show. Didn't really consider Take the Money and Run to be a game show per se...
    In 2012, it's once again Wipeout and... and ... and ... ???

I hope ABC aires some game show other than Wipeout during this summer. And no, Duets and Glass House are not considered game shows.

We still have 76 more ways to leave a game show, and 1,001 things you should know... if that helps...

Ok they're are not new shows, so it doesn't look like ABC is picking up any summer game shows, or even at this point early Fall game shows. The Glass House sounds stupid though
