And another Question is if GSN's Pyramid will be in New York City or in Los Angeles.

Is Sony and [Michael]Davies producing it? Todd Newton would also be a good host but now, he's on the Hub.

That's right. There has to be another host that knows Pyramid really well.

well, so much for John Davidson and Donny Osmond.

what about Betty White besides she's a good Pyramid Player among other celebrity-driven game shows that she appeard on,she was married once to Allen Ludden from Password of course, also she won an Emmy for best game show host from her first and only short-lived NBC daytime game show from 1983 called Just Men!

or Vicki Lawrence even though she had Feuds with Clark on Pyramid a few times she did host the NBC daytime version of Win, Lose or Draw from 1987-1989.

Just Men! is a short-lived game show originally running on NBC daytime from January 3, to April 3,1983 hosted by Betty White where two female contestans faced a group of seven male celebrities for the chance to win a car. At the start if each show, White would mix the key that started the car with six others that did not, and handed one key to each celebrity.

    Round 1

In The First round, the panel has been asked a yes or no question to which at least two celebrities had answered "yes". Starting with the champion, each contestant questioned the panel for one minute (although a celebrity whose answer was already revealed would not be questioned again), using questions prepared for them in advance pertaining to the round's topic. following the questioning, the contestant selected a celebrity she thought answered "yes". Doing so won that celebrity's key. if two "yes" answershad not been found after each contestant had a turn, they then took turns each asking one celebrity a question and then making a choice until twokeys had been claimed.

    round 2

In round two, the panel was asked another yes or no question, to which at least two of the panelists with unclaimed keys jad answered "no".The seocnd round was played the same as the first, except the contesants looked for panelists who said "no". Again, a correct prediction won a key, but a worng prediction this time resulted in the key for that panelists being awarded to her opponent. Each contestant took one turn.

    Round 3 (catch-up round)

In the Final Round, each player took turns asking one of the remaining celebrities one question, based onthe round's topic. the contestant then decided of the celebrity said "yes" or "no" to the round's question. if right, she won the key and took one of her opponent's keys as well, if any. Otherwise, the key went to her opponent.

After all seven keys were claimed, the contestant with more keys won the game and played the bonus round. The loser received a consolation prize for each key she had and was guaranteed at least one prize.

    Bonus Round

The champion selected one key for each day she had been on the show. If the player won the main game by collecting all seven keys, she received an additional key.The key were tried in the car in alphabetical order based on the celebrties' names. If any of the keys selected by the contestant started the car, she won it and retired as undefeated champion. If not, she won a consolation prize, ostensibly held inside the car's trunk, and returned on the next show.

also about Pat Finn he was mostly famous for hosting Shop Til' You Drop on Lifetime (1991-1994), The Family Channel "now ABC Family" (1996-1998) and last but most certaintly not the least PAX "Formerly i, now currently ion television" (2000-2005) so yes he was good.

I don't think Betty would want to host another game show, but if she did, that'd be a good choice. She's one of the few celebs of today who'd bring a pre-set audience (a requirement at GSN) who also knows game shows.

Which means GSN will immediately pass.

I asked the same question about location; no one seems to know yet.

Pyramid is one of my 5 favorite game shows ever...but if Todd Newton is hosting I won't be watching. And there are very few hosts about whom I would say that. As I said earlier, this show needs a host who knows how to step out of the spotlight and let the game be the star....no one fits that description less IMO than Todd Newton.
    Down With Cablevision!
