It's being done in La-la Land and I think I read that Andy Richter would be hosting the pilot.

I agree that Ben Bailey would be an excellent host, so would John O'Hurley. He probably wouldn't do it, but Jerry Seinfeld would be interesting. Dylan Lane wasn't great on Chain Reaction, Pyramid would be harder to host so no. I wouldn't want someone who shouts like Alfonso or Todd. And no on Andy Richter, I don't like anyone associated with Conan the barbarian. Obviously it would be hard to fill Dick Clark's shoes. Donny Osmond wasn't on the same level, I didn't see the Davidson version. But whoever hosts they had better not remove the Dick Clark Pyramids! It's been nice having them on Friday night marathons when no one thought they would be in primetime.

Dylan Lane I keep saying would be perfect for this job, if John O'Hurley can't do it (Which I believe he can't). Lane's version of Chain Reaction has been highly rated in reruns since 2010 now, and he's not doing much, so he'll probably come cheap.

Pilot films Monday (3 days from now) so I don't know how we don't know who the host is

Hate to break it to you, but I prefer the La-La land era of Pyramid (mainly 1982-1988) to the N.Y.C. one.

They are taped in La-La Land. Those originals that they say are recorded in L.A. are actually filmed in a studio pretty far from the city, like The Newlywed Game (2009-10) for example.
