Press Your Luck would be wonderful to return to GSN because I would be in heaven and I would love to see it at the 12pm spot that Whammy has because I have seen all the Whammy reruns already and Press Your Luck would be something great and different to see,

but again this time GSN please show episodes from 1985-1986 and 1983-1984 instead of the few episodes from 1984-1985.

I'm guessing you're in the West because of the time. I would say if GSN were to acquire Press Your Luck I think it would do best at 12pm/9am Pacific. If we put a poll on this every single voter would want Press Your Luck on GSN. GSN is going to get it eventually, but I have absolutely no clue when.

And if they don't get it, they should get it, in a different context.

I don't get what you're saying. I just think they should lease 80's Press Your Luck soon, because Whammy! does so well

"If you don't get it, you're gonna get it." Get it? Got it? Good.

Hate to say it, but Press Your Luck won't be returning in the near future. Also, GSN may not have been interested in picking up the earlier or later episodes of the run to begin with - probably because during those times, the ratings were subpar. Ratings may not have picked up until February 1984 - just after the Winter Olympics ended - and ratings were pretty much subpar by November 1985. GSN's desire was to air episodes that were from a good ratings period, and 1983 and late 1985-86 were likely not that good ratings-wise.

All I can say is, I would be totally shocked if Press Your Luck came back to GSN someday. I would be even more shocked if GSN picked up 1983 or 1986 of the run.

Good move, GSN, for finally picking up more Press Your Luck and $ale of the Century!

Bottom line= GSN, acquire Press Your Luck before you acquire more Dancing with the Stars.

Um, it didn't stop GSN from airing the "worst" episodes of MG 7X (1979-1982), did it? So your comment is extremely irrelevant.

i hope to god that the rest of the episodes of PYL in Fremantle's library from 85-86 & 83-84 hasn't been erased or destroyed!

That is ridiculous. Every episode of PYL exists. Most episodes were shown on USA Network. CBS stopped erasing game shows in 1972.

I would think they ALL still exist. This isn't like WOF that had thousands of episodes. A cheap enough lease would be effective.

then why in the heck that GSN has never shown the '83-'84 & '85-'86 episodes yet then huh?

Will you stop speculating?! They were not destroyed!
