Donny's Pyramid deserves a spot on GSN's schedule right now. I'm thinking the weekend slot in the 1pm hour (back to back episodes) instead of Deal or No Deal, which has done poorly at 1pm on weekends, but better at 2pm.

Just a thought- Since we already have Saturday for Karn/O'Hurley Feud in prime time, GSN should try Donny's Pyramid on Monday nights from 7-11pm, since Karn and O'Hurley have been bombing on Mondays. I think GSN should just DUMP block schedule, but for now Donny on Monday nights could do.

I'm all for the nightly block schedule, as long as the episodes shown aren't recent repeats of the daily schedule.

I hate in when they repeat the same episodes within the same night, especially for 5th Grader. All 5 nights a week we see the 7-10pm episodes and then the 7pm hour repeating at 10pm from Monday-Friday.

The 1987-1988 eps. of $100K Pyramid have been rerun abused not just in the past few years, but also from 2001-2003 as well. Surely, it would've been kind of nice to see the 85-86 eps. that have aired more sparingly on the network.

This being said, I think it's important to look at the big picture here. It's not like Pyramid fans (like myself) haven't gotten anything good from GSN as of late. It may be somewhat annoying that GSN chose to show the 87-88 eps. of $100K Pyramid again, but I think that this minor annoyance is outweighed incredibly by the fact that GSN has graciously put in the effort to air more very rare eps. of the $25K Pyramid that haven't been seen on television in over 20 years.

So as a Pyramid fan, while I can understand the annoyance of the rerun-abuse of the 87-88 season of $100K Pyramid, I really feel I have no right to complain as long as those fresh $25K Pyramid eps. are coming through my television screen every weekday morning. And who knows, just maybe we will see a new season of $100K Pyramid in the future. If it happened with $25K Pyramid after all, it could happen with the other Clark version as well in due time.

Since I started watching GSN regularly from Fall 2009 to just recently I noticed $100K Pyramid being the show that really got shafted a lot. It was on, then gone, gaping holes in episodes order, comes back, winds up in block scheduling on Friday night, then off again, back on, then gone again, now back again. This seems to be the show they don't care much about. But that's just my perception of seeing it the last 2 years.

I just hope GSN doesn't ruin this current season of The $25,000 Pyramid, thinking about the Friday night block scheduling. By this I mean I hope GSN doesn't burn through all of these episodes.

Even though it's just a classic, I wish GSN would have had a press release about this like they had with Harvey Feud

Yes, that's the only part of the block scheduling I don't like.

GSN should just dump block scheduling, keep the daytime and post midnight schedule as it is now, and keep Sherri & Jerry every night at 6 and 6:30pm, and then 7pm-Midnight air some Deal or No Deal (7pm), Harvey Feud (8 and 8:30pm), The Newlywed Game (9 and 9:30pm), Karn and O'Hurley Feud (10pm hour), and even Pyramid (Osmond)(11pm) and Catch 21 (11:30pm).

If you're scoring at home: J! was the beginning of Season 25 today, Episode #5516, from 2008-09.

With the new 2008-09 season of Jeopardy! GSN is showing, does anyone know what year they finally changed to their current HD set?

2009. The set first came on temporarily during the Tournament of Champions but it wasn't used permanently until season 26.

The new set could maybe be an explanation on the latest season that GSN could lease. GSN probably tried to lease a season with the HD set, but SONY wouldn't let them. This is just my theory. Just the same exact thing with what happened with the Jeopardy! 2001-02 season

I think you are way over thinking this. Sony, GSN, etc would no more care about what set is being used then I would.

The 2008-09 season was the last season with the old set. But, SONY maybe didn't want the GSN episodes looking very familiar to the current season. It's just a thought, and it could be over thought, but I think GSN would have rather leased a season a year or two later
