No Match Game in 14 years, that long?

The last time Match Game was absent from the GSN schedule was in 1998 at the end of the infamous "dark period" in which GSN didn't show Goodson-Todman shows.

Well, guess I should be happy that GSN took my suggestion for a Pyramid hour at 10:00AM, even if they're not using Donnymid. (Just kidding. GSN couldn't care less about my suggestions.) Makes sense to get Dawson out of 9:00AM because he was losing too much of the Match Game lead-in. Chain Reaction is a personal favorite, so I'm glad it stays on the schedule somewhere.

The weird blanks at 3:30PM on the schedule make me think that something ain't right here. Maybe we should wait a little to see how the schedule finally shakes out. By the way, I still haven't gotten any new pdfs. The poor lady who sends them out has been getting overworked lately.

If it was failing, I don't think GSN would be giving it two more slots on weekends, where no other classic airs.

I completely agree. And it's getting better ratings than some of the "modern" shows, like Karn's Feud and DOND. It's right there with Clark Pyramid, ratings-wise. Definitely not a failure.

Jeopardy![/I], didn't they lease the current season (2005-06) the same time as the Pyramid's? In that case, maybe they got a different season for it as well. We'll have to wait until updated PDF files are released to find out.

YES.....WOULD EXPECT NEW 100 K. But has anyone noticed more newer shows encroaching the AM?....so we get less classics in the AM.The way GSN has avoided getting any fresh MG ep's since 09, you have to wonder if this is the slow kill for MG and Dawson.
On the positive side.....we get more Pyramid. No doubt in GSN's best interest with upcoming new Pyramid.

Guess one that is not going to show Jeopardy on weekends....truly a shame.

YES.....WOULD EXPECT NEW 100 K. But has anyone noticed more newer shows encroaching the AM?....so we get less classics in the AM.The way GSN has avoided getting any fresh MG ep's since 09, you have to wonder if this is the slow kill for MG and Dawson.
On the positive side.....we get more Pyramid. No doubt in GSN's best interest with upcoming new Pyramid.

We do get the addition of one modern show (Chain Reaction) in the morning, but we also get the return of a classic ($100K Pyramid), and nothing is dropped completely. Also, there's more variety overall, as no show airs more than once between 8 AM and 4 PM, unless you count different versions of the same format. So I'm in favor of this change.

Is Whammy still gonna be shown at 12PM starting this Monday? Because if Jeopardy is truly replacing Whammy i'll be really sad but oh, well at least I will get to watch Whammy on my mother's phone on Youtube. Please tell me if this is a real story,

Whammy! has never been on at noon, it's on at 3pm.

Come on man, it's Chain Reaction, not the Newlywed Game or Baggage. If its a more traditional style show then it shouldn't be a problem.

Just dumbing down the morning, that's all. My houseplants have a higher IQ than a large percentage of the contestants on that show (gotta be bad when somebody tries to bail out of playing the bonus round)

It's like as if they don't know how to play the game or better yet, they never saw the show.
