And now, we step insdie the battlezone....

VO: Gymkata: The Series (audience laughter)....will not be seen tonight so that we may bring you this twisted show....

    [AVAILABLE IN CW-HD]

(cue dark green screen; token drop sfx)

    (start-up noise)

    [PREVIOUSLY ON VIDEOGAME MARATHON....]

    (quick static graphic)

Jim Conroy: All 10 went fishing for dinner and points. Shelton Benjamin proved to be teh catch of the day and he reeled in 50 points. Now it's tanks in an all-out battle. Who will blow up the competition? This....is Videogame Marathon: Redemption.

(show open; big band-ish version of theme song)

(cue robot arms playing action, adventure, sports, RPG and puzzle before zapping teh show's logo; flash to studio; applause)

The hottest TV tournament just got bigger and better. Now, let's meet our host, Ronilyn Reilly!

(applause; ROnilyn walks in the door)

Ronilyn: How are you guys doing? Welcome to Videogame Marathon. (silence) Right now, these 10 are about to head into a different kind of battle like they never seen before. Watch.

    (cue segemnt)

Jim: 1980 proved to be a different kind of battle with "Battlezone." Destroying enemy tanks may be good, but what's great is that you get more points by nailing flying saucers and guided missles. Once it became a hit, it was virtual reality with geometric shapes in a big battle setting. Battlezone had everyone waging a war in the arcades.

    (action)

Now, let's battle with Battle Zone!

(applause; teenage bedroom transforms into a deserted area)

It looks liek Team captains Carmelo and Meghan are ready to rock. The first person to blow up another person's tank gets 25 points. Whichever tank has the most damage at the end of the show gets 25 more points.

    (both tanks take off)

And they're they go! All 10 players never had tank training before the show until now. They are driving all teh way to victory. Meghan runs and hides....Carmelo fires.....and misses. Meghan runs into a tank and oh, it's a battle going on. Whoever becaomes toast will get 25 points.....Meghan fires a missle....and gets Carmelo!

    (applause; replay)

Watch again as Meghan takes a missle and....kablam! Melo's gone.

    (action)

That takes care of the fisrt match, but first we got more matches to cover as Alex and Colbie battle next on Videogame Marathon: Redemption.

(robotic arm fires a grenade to the logo and it explodes)

Jim: Back on the Marathon and Alex takes on COlbie in a tank battle for 25 points. And here we go...

    (both tanks take off)

If this was chess, it would be boring, but this is the marathon. We're bringing your favorite games to life. Alex shooting for gold....but misfires. Colbie moves in close......misfires again. Yikes. Alex tries it again....this time it ricohes off teh building and into Colbie's tank....

    (colbie's tank explodes)

    Oh, goodbye.

    (applause; replay)

That boomerang shot deserves a replay. It went off the side of the building...onto a tank and....BLAMO! She's gone. 25 for Alex Shelley.

    (action)

Next is Jennie & Toni going for battle and.....we're ready.

    (both tanks take off)

Here comes Toni closing in on Jennie.....Jennie firing away.....and Toni fools her. Toni firing a missle.....Yes. Wait a sec, Jennie stays alive....right back at her. It's getting close. Toni firing again.....Jennie is tank-less! 25 for her.

    (applause; replay)

We watch again as it was a back & forth battle and Toni got the last laugh for 25 points.

    (action)

Coming up, 4 more gamers battle for points in the Battlezone after we tell our audience...

    (cue segment)

    AUDIENCE: HEY YOU!!!!

[HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW YOUR VIDEO GAMES?]

The Bradley Methos Training System in Battlezone was only for what armed forces branch?

    A: The Army.

Now you know your video games.

    (action)

Now we return with Blake going up against Chris for points.

    (both tanks take off)

What a battle we're about to have. Both fire, but they hide away. It's like a gun fight in a western movie. Chris comes in and......Blake gets blasted!

    (applause; replay)

Watch again, CHris moves away and once he fires Blake....he's gone.

    (action)

Here comes the last matchup of the night, and it would go to Ashley or Shelton in this match.

    (both tanks take off)

And we are underway. Ashley and Shelton. 25 points up for grabs. Ashley moves in close.....Shelton having a hard time trying to find the fire button....and Ashley takes her out.

    (applause; replay)

Watch again as Shelton tries to find the fire button, but Ashley gets blasted. SOrry, but the only way to play is to move.

    (action)

Tike to break away for some comemrcials and let's find out who is the best tank in the game.

Jim Conroy: It was a battle as 10 players stepped inside the tanks and into the war zone. By the end, Toni Ferrari took the game and takes the overall lead. Now it's a fight for survival as we take it inside the maze. Who will be eliminated? This....is Videogame Marathon: Redemption.

The hottest TV tournament just got bigger and better. Now, let's meet our host, Ronilyn Reilly!

(applause; ROnilyn walks in the door)

Ronilyn: How are you guys doing? Welcome to Videogame Marathon. (silence) It's now time for the wild card race. Before we get into our featured game, here's what the scoreboard looks like so far:

    TEAM MEGHAN TEAM CARMELO
    Meghan-150 Carmelo-25
    Jennie-50 Toni-175
    Blake-75 CHris-75
    Ashley-50 Shelton-150
    ALex-100 Colbie-50

So far, the Team Captain has the lowest score, which means, Carmelo, along with Ashley, Colbie and Jennie will all take their place in a maze race. Watch this.

    (cue segment)

Jim: Things are about to go Berzerk and in 1980, players were in a maze fighting off robots. easy right? Wrong. There's also a smiling face bouncing ball smiling at the face of danger and taking you away. It was also the first game to use speech like....(Get The Humanoid!) and.....("Intruder Alert!") But no matter what the outcome was, Berzerk was the game where escpae isn't the name of teh game.

    (action)

Now, let's get silly with Berzerk!

(applause; teenage bedroom transforms into a maze)

Jim: Our bottom 4 players are ready to go and they're ready to go Berzerk. Robots are firing at them and each one you fight off is worth 25 points. Whoever can get out can get 200 for 1st, 100 for 2nd, 50 for 3rd and 25 for last. The 2 people with the least amount of points will be gone after this.

    (all 4 enter the maze)

    And theyre' off!

    (all fire robots)

It's a hard fought battle and Ashley fires the first shots gaining her 50 points, but Carmelo goes up and earns 75 for their trouble. everybody else has zero, but Colbie gets one for 25.

A reminder here that walls are electric and can mean instant elimination.

(all take the exit to the mext area)

    ("The Intruders must not escpae!)

And off to the next area. Colbie fires it right off the bat and increases it to 50. Turning a corner and Carmelo reaches the 100 point mark before jennie finally gets 25 on the board. Evil Otto comes in, as if you didn't know, and it's a free for all. Jennie gets the last one to tie Colbie's score and off to the next area.

    ("The Intruders must not escpae!)

Whoa, it's a firing squad and carmelo gets 2 more for 150, Jennie increases her score to 100 for that effort and as they go to the other side, colbie and Jennie get 2 robots for 50 points a piece and Carmelo ties for the lead. Off to the next area, but first, we check the score....

    CARMELO-150
    JENNIE-150
    COLBIE-100
    ASHLEY-50

We'll have more of the wild card race next on Videogame Marathon: Redemption.

    (cue show logo)

(robotic arm fires a grenade to the logo and it explodes)

Jim: Back on the Wild card play off and it's a tight race between Carmelo and Jennie, Ashley fires back to close the gap at 100. And she....gets one from far away to increase the score to 125. They fire from a range of 15 feet away. And they all ecsape to the next area.

    ("The Intruders must not escpae!)

This time it's a whole room full of robots. Carmelo takes the leads firing off a couple at 200, but Jennie fires back getting only one for 175. It's getting close. Colbie takes down 3 to tie Jennie's score and Ashley fires 2 to bump her score up to 150.

    ("The Intruders must not escpae!)

As they head off to the next area, keep in mind the robots are now blue. Talk about color changes. Carmelo increaes the lead by getting 3 for 275, but Ashley comes back strong getting 2 for 200. As they make the exit, we get a score check.

    CARMELO-275
    ASHLEY-200
    COLBIE-175
    JENNIE-175

It's still close. Please come back for more of this race, but first....

Jim: Welcome back. Before the break, we asked you....

[HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW YOUR VIDEO GAMES?]

Berzerk was the first game to have what event?

A: A cause of death. In January 1981, 19-year-old Jeff Dailey died of a heart attack soon after posting a score of 16,660 on Berzerk. In October of the following year, Peter Burkowski made the Berzerk top-ten list twice in fifteen minutes, just a few seconds before also dying of a heart attack at the age of 18. Now you know your video games.

    (action)

As they enter the room, it's all 4 walls in a big room full of robots. Watch out!

Carmelo hits a couple for 325 and Ashley gets another for 225. Jennie gets 5 robots for 300 and she takes 2nd as of now. Colbie fires one for 200, but it's still anybody's race. They're escaping at the exit, but there's no way out. 7 robots and Colbie fires off 4 more to tie the score, but Carmelo gest the remaining 3 for 400. At the finish line, Carmelo hits it first, Jennie takes 2nd, Colbie takes 3rd and dead last goes to Ashley. Let's break away and see which 2 are moving on to the postseason.

So far So Good, We finished the regular season of VGM6, But for the Epic Call of Duty Finale we will probably have an idea to make it Call of Duty Themed

We can hire dancers to play their roles as members of the military and will be choreographed by Nappytabs (Napoleon & Tabitha D'Umo) and will be coached by a number of Military Men.

Notable Assignments to play their role in the Call of Duty Finale in which the soldiers will dance (Think the Gauntlet of Villains in Whew!)

Canada: Kim Gingras, Vincent Noiseux, Jayme Rae Dailey
USA: Misha Gabriel, Mollee Gray, Allison Holker, Ryan Ramirez

But there will be more dancers appearing in the Call of Duty Finale on Video Game Marathon including a number of So You Think You Can Dance portraying the role as Dancing Soldiers in which contestants (along with their eliminated players to be formed in a team) are going to attack if they attack a dancing soldier they win a prize and it goes in to the bank (just like last season) winner keeps all the prizes of the teams bank and the Golden Joystick.

I Can't Wait as We Countdown to the VGM6: Finale, Can't Wait
