    Question Spider Solitaire top scores

Was wondering if anyone getting scores of 106,000+ could give me a hint or two.

My scores are usually 104,000 -105,000+ but I can't break that 106. I've never made it before the clock runs out, why I really like the game, no hurry(was a sloth in past life) Anyway is that the trick? If so at least then I'll know I can quit going crazy trying to attain that high of a score.

You'll never get an answer. I asked a simliar question about 25 stud. I even messaged the top players on the leaderboards and not even one answered back. I can understand they don't want anymore competiton, but honestly it seems like they are doing more then playing.

I'm really surprised by this. I don't really think I'd be that much more competition. And I was so happy to see someone answered. What a shame. It's a pity when over competitiveness cuts into friendliness.

Shadow if ever I learn some "secrets" about 25 stud, you'll be the first to know, promise.

I know. I'd gladly share any secrets I knew about any games I played. I don't really know any, but I'd at least give some tips if asked. Oodle wise I usually just play 25 stud and toy chest.

Last night I was thinking, if no one feels like sharing tips here maybe I could look it up online, unfortunately to no avail. I was pretty tired tho, so I didn't dig too deep. If you haven't done this already maybe there's something out there about 25 stud(I've played it a few times and realized it'd take me way too long to be any good at it, so srry I'm no help)

What really sucks about not finding some answers was that I'd didn't get a chance to come back here and spew them for all to see! God forbid! Now that would have been satisfying! There's still time( my frustration's not diminishing any time soon)

Good luck with your quest Shadow.

BTW: If anyone thinks I might be able help them with a game, I, like shadowsonic, would be happy to help if I can.

My main games are Spider Solitaire 4suits, Zen Gems, Big Money, Spliterature, Cubis and Fling Shot. Of these I've managed to be somewhere above 30 on the leader boards, not necessarily consistently (lol)mind you.

If your game can be played on World Winner cash games look under rules for that game. The info there has helped me a lot.

Anyone else feel like listing the games they are good at and offering some tips?

    Red face try to help

Hi, not sure if I can help any but will try....
Someone won the player of the month a few months back (a guy) and put tips down for 25 stud and few other games he wins at all the time. Good tips...
All the winners of the month put down some tips on the games they play and win at, some good some not to much information ......
There is a blog on forum page that gives you tips on every game, it's like the first page in the community rooms or forum page...just look through the pages you will find, I did...and you can save it under your quick links, then you can find it any tihe you want...
On spider, all I can tell you is love the game and just play as fast as you can , put low numbers up on the A's as you go....hope this helps some....the other games ,you must be a paying player, due to I have not seen the games u were talking about.....sunny

You made me laugh! I had more trouble figuring out the forums and posts etc. than I did the games! Guess I'm not the only one!

Oh and Sunny THANK YOU!! for your suggestions.

I have tried looking for tips online, no avail either. I have read that blog you're talking about sunny. Didn't really give any tips I didn't already know or try. Well other then the 8 hours the guy says he plays some days. I suppose if I played for 8 hours eventually I'd get a deck stacked in my way. I did beat my record last night with a 392.

It's the weekend, I thought for sure we'd get more responses. Really disappointing isn't it? I was really hoping to get some kind of discussion going, not even on the games we had mentioned necessarily, but maybe some off the wall advice(stuff you can't look up). Of course the title to this thread doesn't suggest that.

Shadow, congrats on your high score. I think GSN has a lot of people hoodwinked into thinking oodles are real money. Why else would they be so stingy with their tips or spend 8 hours on one game? Squishmire figured out what oodles are actually worth(approx.). I don't know about you but 13 cents, or however ridiculously low number, an hour just doesn't cut it for me.

Let's be thankful for our low-ish scores and extra free time!

You may want to try starting a new thread under the "Oodles Discussion" boards. There is a lot more traffic there than this "Free Games Discussion" for some reason.

Someone started a thread awhile back asking for people to post tips or glitches they knew about any games.... there were a few responses.

And yeah, breezie... the best value for your oodles are the donations. There, they are 1,000 oodles = $1.00 but with the auctions, it seems to be anywhere between about 4-8 thousand oodles per dollar.

Thanks Squish for the suggestion but I think if the same thing happened there it would be just too depressing. Anyway, for now, I can live with my scores. If in the future I become more obsessed with Spider Solitaire I'll probably join one of those on-line Spider Solitaire clubs, lol, doubtful. Maybe in a year or two I'll beat the clock and find out for myself
