I was the one that said in anther thread that he won. I saw that he won on the winners page. I have to agree with baikman this makes even less sense after reading GSNAngels response. It brings up a few questions for me.

    1. Who really won the t.v. then?
    2. Is anyone even going to get the t.v.?
    3. How much did it really go for?
    4. Anyone else find it strange that he only got a refund of 400k when he bid over a million? I got to the bid over a million because someone posted they bid 943k in another thread.
    5. When are you going to start to list the winners and the bids?
    6. Does jesse3000 work for gsn and this gives them away to not reward the t.v. and save some money? This assumes no one gets the t.v.

I'm sure i could come up with more if i took a few minutes to think about it. Not sure if you made it better or worse with your response Angel. 1 lone hacker or something fishy going on at gsn hmmm. BTW I'm a conspiracy nut if you haven't figured it out yet:P
Again, I say WOW. It is great that there some of you out there that stay so on top of things. I think you are right - further explanation is necessary.

So is there anyway to find out who actually won this tv? Looking at recent winners only goes back a week or so. Oh well....i guess it will all remain a mystery

  4. #19
Nope because i wont let this drop. IMO they still haven't explained this to my satisfaction. I don't mind losing on the boards and items if it's fair. But if we are getting screwed i think we all deserve to know the facts.

    ...........And, we're all still waiting...............
This discussion has now been taken up on the
"Oodles Prizes Survey: Sweeps vs Buy-It-Now"
thread. Still no answers or solutions, BUT THE
ISSUE IS NOT DEAD. Who's duping who, here?

  6. #21
(lack of response is it's own answer)

  7. #22
And that would still make it that he got around 50,000 oodles in two weeks. I suppose he could have won big on the scratch tickets but the main question is: WHO won the TV?

Why was he listed as the winner if he didn't really win? I'm more confused than ever.

  8. #23
It's more then just who won the tv to me squishmar. He still has the tv in his collection. What really doesn't make sense to me is who would agree to what happened to him? How could anyone say, Oh well keep the tv and 500k+ of my oodles I'm good with that? If i was told that i would say screw that give me the tv. I pretty sure 90%+ of you out there would too.

BTW how do you do quotes? I would probably help others if they could see where I'm coming from when i respond to someone . Thanks in advance.

Certainly all of us would be interested in hearing something directly from GSN on this to put our minds at ease. A lot of suspicion, a lot of conjecture, but no answer. Disconcerting to say the least.

click "reply w/ quote" in the lower left corner of the posting you want to respond to. A text box will appear that has the original posting copied onto it with the word 'quote' in parenthesis at the beginning and end. You can erase the less important text to shorten the quote, but PLEASE practice good quoting by using "..." to indicate that the original quote has been shortened. Click below the quote to enter your response. You also have the option of editting your posting after you submit...look for an "edit" button near the "reply" button (it only appears AFTER you post)

Holler if you need further assist!

I can only have faith in GSN that, as a large corporation, they would not do anything unscrupulous to jeopardize their interests. It's serious business being involved in any kind of fraudulent activity and I honestly don't think they are (that certainly doesn't go for ALL corporations... LOL).

I'm just curious about this unusual situation and wish more light could be shed.

Has anyone emailed help@gsn.com to ask who the winner is?
Have account questions or concerns? Write: help@gsn.com

I know others who have written about different auctions and sweeps but have not gotten an answer (especially about the sweeps)... but I just wrote to them asking about this TV auction.

We'll see what they say and I'll post it here. Should more people write as well if they want to know? Or will my letter represent the masses? LOL

This is the response I got:

"We're glad that you're a part of the GSN community.
Sorry for any confusion. A complete winners' list was posted online at http://www.gsn.com/cgi/prizes/winners.html."

Of course, that link just takes me to the current list which doesn't help me at all. And, as I understand it, when the winner WAS posted there, it was listed as "jesse3000," which we've now found out is incorrect.

So, I told them that in response and asked again for the actual winner of the TV. Hope they can help me.
