Did GSN lose the rights to 1 vs 100?

I was looking at Zap2it and I noticed that for Sunday, June 10th 1 vs 100 is not listed for 12pm or 1am. Airing in its place is an hour of The 25,000 Pyramid.

I know that GSN started to air 1 vs 100 about three years ago, but on what day in June did it start? Of course, this could be wrong, but I think it might be accurate. If this is true, then it does look like they lost the rights to air 1 vs 100. I know it had a short run, but I liked the show and didn't mind it airing only on Sunday's. But 25,000 Pyramid replacing it is interesting. Hey, its another older show on weekends!

Deal or No Deal and 1 vs 100 both began airing the first week of June in 2009... so that makes sense.
It's a shame... 1 vs 100 is a great show and still does fine on Sunday afternoons / nights.

Dick's Pyramid is now seen on Sundays?

I hope this is true, because I think we've seen enough of 1 vs. 100. This would be great for The $25,000 Pyramid to air on Sunday's.

June 1st or sometime around that was the exact date. This is too bad. GSN is losing another show. This will knock GSN's number of shows down from 18 to 17 (again). But, at least GSN is showing The $25,000 Pyramid, another sign of classics returning to the weekends. So I'm glad of that instead of another Deal or No Deal

Yeah, I also have mixed feelings about this. I liked the original 1 vs. 100 and was glad it was still on the schedule. I would have preferred if they put $25K in place of one of the excess Newlywed Game or DoND airings. (I would say Feud, but I know they're not going to mess with what works best for them.) But hey, I'm glad that they're giving the classics more airtime on the weekend - and in an afternoon slot, no less.

I just thought, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to put 1 vs. 100 with Carrie Ann Inaba at 12pm ET at least and maybe The $25,000 Pyramid at 1am ET. I mean, as much as I like 25K Pyramid, It's just a thought if GSN wanted to. And, plus, it would only be at Noon so, again, it couldn't hurt, or just put it the other way around but I would suggest try out noon.

The weekend schedule generally stinks anyway, I think they need to do something about all of the Family Feud airings instead of 1 vs 100.

They should consider something like this:

    9:00AM Super Password
    9:30AM Password Plus
    10:00AM $25,000 Pyramid
    10:30AM $100,000 Pyramid
    11:00AM Match Game
    11:30AM Jeopardy!
    12:00PM Family Feud (Dawson)
    12:30PM Family Feud (O'Hurley)
    1:00PM 1 vs 100
    2:00PM Deal or No Deal
    3:00PM Family Feud (Karn)
    3:30PM Family Feud (O'Hurley)
    4:00PM Newlywed Game
    4:30PM Catch 21
    5:00PM Family Feud (Harvey)
    5:30PM Family Feud (Harvey)
    6:00PM Baggage
    6:30PM Baggage
Then they can do their Family Feud / 5th Grader blocks from 7PM - Midnight, put Millionaire at Midnight, Maybe 1 vs 100 or Deal or No Deal at 1AM, and then go out with Classics.

1 vs. 100 debuted on GSN on June 6. I knew it was around that weekend that they started airing such show.

Yep, I think it will be safe to declare that 1 vs. 100 - the NBC version - will air for the last time on June 3. Enjoy it while you can.

And replacing it with a classic that receives high ratings, that my friends is a step in the right direction. If I recall, this will be the most classics airing on weekends since November 2009. Back then, we had only 2 hours of classics on weekends. Now, starting June 3, we will be getting 1 1/2 non-consecutive hours of classics on Sundays. Great move, GSN!

Guess I will be watching GSN on Sunday afternoons starting on June 10. $25,000 Pyramid is the only show I watch on GSN nowadays, and I may not enjoy it as much as Card Sharks, Combs' Feud, or Press Your Luck, but it's still watchable to me.

But then again, maybe they're using it as a filler until the newer programming starts airing later this year.

Double-edged sword. I'm glad Pyramid's getting a bit more airtime but 1 vs. 100 was a favorite of mine, and it will be missed by me.

    I agree.

Agree with several points made above. 25k Pyramid getting on the weekend schedule is great, but why let 1 Vs 100 get axed? Why not one of the seemingly millions of airings of Karn Feud or Sherriwed on weekends? Do Richard and Sherri have a cause that says they must be seen that much? Geez, they need a reduction ASAP.

I wonder which episodes will air that Sunday... I'm thinking they'll start with the first ep. of the new lease (6/20/86 ep. with Janis Paige and Michael Spound), considering that is what they did with Password Plus last weekend.

Agreed, plus I don't want to see the new lease of $25K Pyramid be subjected to rerun abuse so soon.

It's still a good change. I wish GSN would air Super Password and Lingo (Woolery) in the 11am hour on weekends since Sherriwed has been worn down there, then Pyramid (Osmond) in the 1pm hour. That would make me completely happy.
