I hate Video Bingo as GOTW. You have to play 100 cards which I feel is an excessive amount - that's 14 cards every day! Plus 100 cards times the minimum bet is 10000 tokens. The tokens I don't mind so much as I have plenty of tokens but 100 cards takes a long time even with the faster speed.
I hate that game too!!! Even if you play all 3 cards it will only count as playing one card. I dont even bother with that one cuz it would take me over an hour a day of fast to play enough to get the weekly oodles.
Sorry to complain, I love GSN , I love the free section!! but,, puleese! Video Bingo is too long, and I work for a living too, we had this same rant last time, I guess it did no good. Someone who works there should put themselves through it to see why we are complaining, and PLEASE lower the amount of games (or skip that one for the Game of Week) I don't have complaints on any other games, Thanks

If you dont mind just blowing the tokens....all you have to do is start the game...then quit. No need to play the whole game.
I know that but it's truly a ridiculous number of games. On the occasions I play Video Bingo just because I feel like it, I always play 3 cards so I don't get bored. But for game of the week I feel have to play just one so I can put it on fast play and since you only get credit for 1 game regardless of cards there is no reason to play more.Originally Posted by dougbnj2

I hate the game too... BUT I turn off the music & GO HIGH SPEED and do 1 Card at the Minimum.... only have 10 more to do.. Have the monthly one done already! I just look for the end of the tunnel!
I like your poem Clodster. And I agree with gingersnap, I don't think I'll bother with this one either, it's just too aggravating. Most GOTW are 25 games so why is Video Bingo 100?
I'd rather play Bingo than swap games.
I start the game, open a new window, play what I like, then go back and check on the bingo. That way, I don't feel like I'm wasting my time.
They just don't think this one through. They are acting like it's a slot pull or something.
EVERY other Game of the Week is for 25 games. WHY is this one for 100? It takes just as long--if not longer--than other games that require only 25 for the week.
I at least wish they would make three cards count as three games played. It's the same difference to them... the tokens are being spent... it would make no difference except that it would be less aggravating and time-consuming for everyone.
I admit, I do like it much more on the fast speed and I always play two cards just because it gives me more to do during the game.... but you can also not play along and just check your card(s) afterwards by clicking on all the spaces and they will fill in if they were called for that game.
And I DEFINITELY turn off the music. It puts me to sleep!
squishmar I believe you are thinking GOTD. GOTW is generally 100+ games but ITA that is way too many for this time consuming game.
What I dislike more than the time required to play is that I have the feeling that I am just throwing away tokens. I'm gonna play it because oodles mean something and tokens really don't. Plus I have more than enough tokens to play token games for a long time to come. I mean I lost 2150 on GOTD Pirate Slots yesterday and that didn't bother me because I have actually come out ahead several times on that game and it took less than 30 min to complete 100 spins. The 1490 I have lost the last two days on Bingo bother me worse (40 games/1 card/minimum bet) just because of the time it has taken to play those 40 games.
The way I play is to pause the game after I played (or most often not played) the last ball dropped. After I go off pause the next ball drops immediately. Sure it's a lot of mouse clicks but as you mentioned it keeps me involved in the game instead of waiting for the computer to drop the next ball which is too slow on normal and a little to fast for me on fast play.
Also I do not play multiple cards because that seems like I am just throwing good tokens after bad.
And that's my stay on the soapbox for today....
No, clodster, the Games of the Week are usually for 25 games. Just last week, it was Mahjongg Dimensions on World Winner which is actually a really FAST game...and it was for 25 games.
The Daily games (Winner Wednesday) are usually for 10 or 15 and Weekend Warrior varies (just 10 for Big Money... sometimes up to 25).
It's really only the Casino games where they go into the 100s. But Video Bingo is nothing like a pull on a slot machine. They just don't seem to understand this.
I like your method of playing... we all have our ways to make it go by... I just can't stand the idea of not playing at all (even though I only use my tokens for oodles promos) so I'm plodding through them. And I know I'm throwing them away by playing two cards per game, but it's more interesting to me and commands my attention more when it's on fast (you're right, it IS fast).
Have you tried just clicking the + button once? It's kind of a medium speed... the clicking twice is the super fast one (and I can't play three cards with that speed).
