    June 5, 1987

It was on this day a quarter of a century ago that Bill Cullen made his final TV appearance ever, when he was a celebrity guest on The $25,000 Pyramid alongside of Betty White.

If GSN only leased 200 episodes this time around, we can forget about seeing that milestone Bill Cullen appearance any time soon.

Unless, I ask, did GSN air that particular episode in 2002?

Also, related to June 5, 1987, it was on that day that the biggest daytime jackpot won on Wheel of Fortune in daytime was claimed. $22,000 with the puzzle MOTHER'S LITTLE HELPER. I learned that from a comment on YouTube when David Downs had an episode up on YouTube before last summer's infamous Sony purge.

Last TV appearance? Wow...three years (or more maybe) before his death. I'm surprised he didn't have one interview or something, like Dawson had in 2010.

To answer your question, no GSN did not air the Betty White/Bill Cullen week back in 2002. They only aired episodes from late November 1987-July 1988.

Most likely we won't get to see his final TV appearance this time around either. If this new lease consists of 200 episodes, we will likely only see up until the end of March 1987 or early April 1987, if my math is correct. We will get to see Uncle Bill's July 1986 appearances with Lois Nettleton however starting next Friday, June 15th.
