Classic Whammy episode shown today

This morning I got to see a very special Whammy episode and what luck it was a Whammy rerun I had never watched before. It was the famous Whammy episode that featured Michael Larson's brother James compete against former Press Your Luck stars Ed Long and Janie Litras and it was such a cute episode and wonderful to see two of the original contestants compete against James Larson and as a wonderful treat the late Peter Tomarken got to host the question round and boy Peter was such a cutie pie when he asked the questions and did a wonderful job hosting the round. Too bad Peter is not around anymore because if he was still alive he would be a crush for me. Does anyone remember this episode of Whammy?,

I do vaguely remember this episode. I wish Peter Tomarken would have gotten to host a little more that episode, or the whole episode even. I will have to see if that ones on YouTube or not.

I wish classic PYL would come back to GSN. Just because the new version is on, doesn't mean they shouldn't make room for the old show. It didn't stop them from airing the classic version for 7 long years.

Honestly GSN, who cares if you made your current version which is now 10 years old. GSN should acquire Press Your Luck, and I'm assuming it would do well for the network, with the ratings we've seen for Whammy! in reruns. I would like to see the old version too in GSN's classic line up

Believe it or not that Whammy episode is found on Youtube and I happened to find it on my mother's phone and all you have to do is type Peter Tomarken and that Whammy episode will be found along with many other Peter Tomarken game shows as well,

i know i have said this a few times and i'll say it again, this time air the continuing '85-'86 episodes & the beginning '83-'84 epsiodes this time instead of the reran to death '84-'85 episodes.

This time...GSN should just air any episodes of Press Your Luck (80's) as they can, since we all want to see them, and they would do well probably, since Whammy! still does very well in reruns

That and Chain Reaction do well at 3pm, so adding Press Your Luck to the network wouldn't hurt

of course not! but do to the demands of their original programming it's probably not going to happen anytimes soon

They don't want to waste their money on any new programming right now, since they have American Bible Challenge and other originals in the works, but they could later this year.

After Family Feud, Password Plus, Super Password, Jeopardy! and The $25,000 Pyramid, I think GSN is doing with new seasons/new shows for this year
