A coincidence I would think, and nothing else.

I don't think we were suggesting government conspiracy; it's something that those who are here would notice.

Yep. I noticed the same thing with 100K and 25K pyramid. Categories and many clues being re-used from one show to the next, with about a 2-year difference in airdates. The writers sometimes just run out of material.

Family Feud, especially since 2006 or so has used a lot of repeat questions, which I notice now are asked in the Harvey version. That's just a modern example. But between both of Clark's Pyramids, and Password Plus/Super Password, Passwords/clues and categories being reused is probably more common than you think

Not more common than I think. I've recorded all of the 100K and previous lease 25k episodes, and there were dozens of examples of re-used questions/categories. The only reason I brought it up with P+ and SP was the coincidental factor that both episodes with recycled questions recently aired close together (within one week).

Yea, here on the GSN order we had that.

Wouldn't you think that would have been known before Ludden announced that CNR would be on the next episode?

Yeah, I really think Allen just misspoke.

I don't have any experience in this field. But my guesses would be either he misspoke, or whatever happened between him and Charles happened right after the taping of the previous week ended and before the tapings that would have happened with Charles and MTM; and they got Bill Cullen as a last second replacement. I'd guess one would need to know how their taping schedule played out.

Charles Nelson Reilly (CNR) was known to be creepy at times, so I'm not surprised to hear this overall, but hearing it come from Allen of all people is a little surprising

Especially considering all the episodes of Match Game Mrs. Ludden did with CNR....

Even on Match Game Charles Nelson Reilly wasn't "normal", even if he was trying to be goofy. Other celebrities were goofy and they were funny. Charles Nelson Reilly was on Match Game for a few years I believe, Match Game '74 I know since it's reran on GSN now

CNR was on much more than "a few years". He had almost 550 weeks of taping in all of the match game incarnations, second only to Brett Somers, who had just over 600. Even Richard Dawson had less than 400 weekly appearances.

If by "creepy" or "not normal" you mean gay, then you would be correct. As far as being funny, most of his funny moments came from his and Brett's interactions and insults toward each other.

So basically, he had a longer run on Match Game than I thought. Apologizes, I'm not a regular viewer of the show, and didn't watch in the 70's. Wow, he actually had one of the longest celebrity runs probably. CNR was "creepy" on air and off air, but he was a good Match Game panelist

Where exactly is your proof on this? Or are you just talking out of your rear again?
