Idea to make tokens worth something

As I was playing Video Bingo hoping for a prize ball on the first ball it hit me. How about instead of a prize ball its an oodle ball? Then for people like me who just start a game and end it right away, because I have so many tokens, it would give me a reason to play the whole game. I'm sure with this crew of forum watchers we can figure out ways to make almost all the games have an oodle prize. I'm not talking a big prize either. Depending on the cost of the game come up with a nice range. I think its 30 tokens in bingo so go with that or move it to 20. Something anything to make them have a point other then to make GSN money. This might actually make them more money. Less tokens won so people have to buy more. People who wouldn't buy them, if they run out, might buy some.

I haven't thought about the other games but as i do I'll throw up my ideas in this thread. I hope you guys can help me with some of the games. Maybe if we do the work for them they might give it some thought

Video Bingo-prize ball becomes oodle ball
Wheel of fortune-wheel spin becomes oodle spin. oodles less then tokens now.

It would be nice if they reverted all of the original Casino games to a choice... play for oodles or tokens. And even make the new Casino games have that option.

How great it would be to be able to play Deal or No Deal and Double Trouble for oodles again!

I'd love to have Double Trouble back, I miss playing it. I don't play token games unless they are for oodles. I think this is a great idea, so you know the Powers That Be will ignore it. Still, it doesn't hurt to try.

the powers that be might listen. especially, if they can sell more of those tokens. the only time i play the token games is to earn oodles. and i"m sure there are plenty more players like me.

    CONVERSION RATES FOR
    OODLES, TOKENS, & CASH.

    80 TOKENS = 40 OODLES = 1 PENNY

At the current sell price, $20 gets you 166,800 tokens.
    That's 83.4 tokens per PENNY (but, let's say it's 80).

    And, even though GSN thinks they're worth $40 . . .
    A $10 DVD costs 39,925 Oodles (make it 40,000).
That means 40 Oodles per penny.

    a penny's worth of Token = 80
    a penny's worth of Oodles = 40

    There you go...
    Run with it, guys!!

A couple of things... First the good news... regarding the donations to the BCRF, the oodles are worth 1,000 per $1.00. The best value of all.

The bad news? The DVDs that are for sale are never worth $10.00. Usually less than $5.00 (they don't always come directly from Amazon now.. and if you look where it says "buy it new" for X amount... it's almost always less than $5.00.

The magazine subscriptions are a pretty good deal for your oodles as are the Books of the Week.... those ARE usually around $10.00 or so (a little less maybe).

    IDEA for Undersea Slots...
Make the "pearls" mini-game an Oodletunity, as a reward for long-play.
    Open the shells...get Oodles!

I posted this to give perspective to the approximate value of token/oodles.
I think it'll be a cold-day-down-there before we are ever offered CASH for either, but
doing this did help me discern what the BuyItNow prizes are worth...kinda!

===I would LOVE being able to exchange tokens for Oodles, even at 10 for 1.===
This could even be a MyGSN TokenTuesday offer, if only once or twice a year.
(ex. Today Only...exchange 5000 tokens for 500 Oodles)

    ===How about an occasional community-wide donate-tokens-for-charity offer?===
As a group, we could send ALOT of support to BCRF, or any other foundation that chooses to partner with GSN.
    (ex. This Week's TokenDonationOffer: 100,000 tokens = $10 donation to ______ charity.)

===I would be willing to donate my tokens in the name of getting better Buy-It-Now prizes.===
And, as much as I HATE the coupons, if offered a "coupon" that would allow me to buy Oodles with my Tokens, I'M IN!!
( I might even end my personal ban of the auctions, for THAT! )

    Just thinkin' some thoughts . . .

The problem with tokens for oodles is that they give so many away for free each day. If they switched to "buy oodles with tokens" you can kiss the free tokens goodbye. I don't like that not for me but for those that actually like the casino games but can't or won't spend real money to buy them. If they did add something where you can win oodles while playing i hope they don't take away the free tokens for those that like the games.

Now that they have so many more Casino games than when it first started, they should give back to the oodlers the games they hijacked for the Casino, namely Deal or No Deal and Double Trouble. Those aren't Casino-type games, anyway.

Video Bingo-prize ball becomes oodle ball
Wheel of fortune-wheel spin becomes oodle spin. oodles less then tokens now.
Pirate Fortune Slots-The cannon game becomes oodles for half the tokens value or tokens ,depending on players choice at start.
Outlaw Video Poker-The bonus points become oodles.
Triple Black Jack-for every black jack say 5 oodles per hands played on table.
Tiki Island Slots-Monkey gives oodles for 1/4 of token value or tokens, depending on players choice at start
Mad Joker Poker-At the end when you cash out and you try to win more tokens change to oodles for a % of token value depending on players choice at start

A few more ideas come on Gsn make the tokens worth playing and buying.

We can wait for GSN Angel to jump in here, but in all seriousness, my guess is that most of these ideas are too much like "gambling" and thus come with legal ramifications, especially the idea for "conversion rates" to cash. Although, I thought the bingo idea was pretty cool and there's got to be SOMETHING that doesn't qualify as gambling. I definitely agree with the Deal or no Deal and Double Trouble being returned as oodles games, too. Especially since it's nearly impossible to win tokens on Deal or No Deal. And more days like the other day with double questions! That was fun!

You know what? I just thought of something else. GSN will make more money this way. (Are you listening GSN?) Right now, how many people actually spend money on tokens? I seriously doubt there are very many. I've only spent money on them twice and both times I spent $1.99 because I needed to finish a promo on time. So they've made a whole $4 off of me! Yippee! lol Anyway, if tokens were linked to oodles, WAY more people would spend WAY more money on tokens. Think about it GSN!!

    Funny . . . You never see a post from a "tokens-player"
wondering what to do with all of those pesky Oodles!!

    So, seriously . . .
How badly does one need to gamble,
that you would purchase VIRTUAL tokens,
    with which,
even if you DO win real big,
you still have nothing to show,
except a loss of real cash?

I prefer to play 'slots' at the laundomat.
Put a dollar in...get four quarters back.
    I break-even EVERY time!!!
