Big Saturday Night made it's debut officially with 20Q, The Rich List, a bunch of nonsense in between and a ton of commercials for a 3 hour block.
You knew there would be trouble on Day One when OBAMA was featured in the segments in between announcing that part of his stimulus plan would be Oodles. An exciting new thing for GSN and people can Oodle and win prizes.
Another big thing was the content of the nonsense in between the shows. You had the Flamboyant Ross the Intern with some news segment. All I can remember was you had him go crazy when he announced that Adam Lambert was Gay.
The skits was also pretty lame. You had a guy dress up in a Whammy suit and he was talking some nonsense that I (thankfully) forgot.
The Rich List was the better of the 2 shows. Couldn't stand Hal Sparks and his smarta** attitude as Mr. Q on 20Q. Fred Roggin was a decent host of The Rich List and the content of the show was good for 30 minute and not an hour or an hour 15 minutes.
Anyone remember this wreck of a programming block?
