Is Catch 21 now being shown in the afternoons now?

Today I noticed that Catch 21 is now shown at 2PM in a mini-marathon after Chain Reaction and this makes me wonder if GSN is planning to bring Catch 21 back with all new episodes and perhaps a new host and card dealer as well. Catch 21 I also would mind in the 12PM slot that Whammy has and put Whammy during the weekends because I have seen all the episodes of Whammy and Catch 21 would be something different to see each morning and put Wheel Of Fortune in Catch 21's 11AM spot,

Yes, Catch 21 is shown in the 4PM (Eastern) timeslot now for an hour.

I'd personally love to see the 2008 season (season 1) again, but that ain't happening. Season 4 is not my favorite.

Season 4 is getting old. I wonder why GSN isn't show the other seasons? It's so ridiculous. Maybe they think nobody watches it so, rerun the season over and over. That's no reason to run it over and over. They have the rights to each season to Catch 21 since it's their original.

Since Catch 21 all of a sudden now airs 3 times every weekday, they should show some earlier seasons. Season 3 was exactly the same as Season 4, so there's no harm in showing that. Season 3 hasn't been seen since early 2011, season 2 hasn't aired in reruns since 2010, and season 1 hasn't aired on GSN since late 2008/early 2009

I remember GSN aired the first season of Catch-21 when it was in the graveyard hours on weekends in 2010 as a placeholder after Viera's Millionaire was axed.

Wow 2010? I don't remember that. It was really late at night, and WWTBA Millionaire was bombing late nights, getting a 39K number I remember at some point. But that was just a placeholder

GSN should just get a recent season of Millionaire, along with other shows and the shows could succeed. Millionaire is a good show.

WWTBA Millionaire could air in the 4pm, or now 5pm hour and do well, with Harvey Feud in the 6pm hour. The 2010-11 season with the new format I like, or the 2009-10 season with the Super Mix/timed format.

This time I don't think it would bomb like a few years ago

GSN should have also tried to maybe get and air the 10th Anniversary edition from 2009 with Regis Philbin. I don't see why not, it would be worth a shot. Regis deserves the airtime on GSN I think. Even though he's got Million Dollar Password at Noon on Saturdays and Millionaire at 2-4am on Sundays.

The current numbers of episodes that GSN has of WWTBA Millionaire should just leave the network right now, and eventually they should acquire the modern season, and maybe the 10th Anniversary edition. Regis' Millionaire is one of the lowest rated shows of the week there. Personally, I think GSN should cut the 3am hour of programming, and leave it to paid programming to raise the networks averages. Just fill in the 2am hour on Sundays with Sherri and Jerry after $25,000 Pyramid
