    Question re: multiple hosts

Including Al Roker, Family Feud has had 7 hosts over the years (Dawson, Combs, Anderson, Karn, O'Hurley, Harvey and Roker).

Has any other show come close?

To Tell the Truth had I believe 5 (Collyer, Moore, Cullen, Garagiola and Trebek)....What's My Line had 3 (Daly/Bruner/Blyden)....
    Down With Cablevision!

For some unfathomable reason people like to count the numerous guest hosts on To Tell the Truth as official hosts of the show, so if you want to go by their statistics they had at least 20, including the five you mentioned (don't forget Robin Ward (1980), Gordon Elliott and Lynn Swann for the 1990 edition, and John O'Hurley for the 2000 edition; Cullen actually was a guest host).

If you're going by regular hosts, the show had Collyer, Moore, Garagiola, Ward, Elliott, Swann, Trebek, and O'Hurley, which makes eight.
Thank you, thank you, thank you GSN for just absolutely rocking these past few months!

Correct. So TTTT has had one more regular host than FF. TPIR has had six, counting Drew Carey.

Family Feud has really had 6 hosts. It should say that everywhere, including Wikipedia (6 hosts that is)

The Newlywed Game has come pretty close (Eubanks, Kroger, Wilson, Shepherd)

yeah technically, Al Roker doesn't count since he hosted the hour long Celebrity version of Feud in 2008 on NBC,and to lesser extent Ricki Lake doesn't count either since she hosted one-off series of Family Feud using the replica of the 1976-1985 Dawson set (minus the no yellow buttons on top of the face-off podium) on CBS from 2006.

now why i said the no yellow buzzers on top of the face-off podium is because on the GSM version it had red buzzer's instead of yellow. dawson's face-off podium on the original Feud were always yellow during the whole series it wasn't red until the Combs version started in July 1988 on CBS and in Syndication.

I still would never consider Al Roker a host of Family Feud. It's like counting all the guest hosts on Who Wants to Be A Millionaire of hosts of Syndicated Millionaire

that's what i was trying to say here Al Roker hosted the celebrity version in 2008 on NBC, he never was the host of the regular syndicated version of Family Feud!

I agree that I wouldn't count Al Roker as an official host of the Feud either considering he only hosted the Celebrity Family Feud in the Summer of 2008. I consider Richard Dawson, Ray Combs, Louie Anderson, Richard Karn, John O'Hurley, and Steve Harvey the hosts for the official hosts for the Feud.

Also, for unofficial hosts, Al Roker (Celebrity Family Feud - who we covered already) and Ricki Lake (Game Show Marathon, IIRC).

I would NEVER count unofficial hosts of the show, as official hosts. If you know what I mean. And as someone mentioned above, Millionaire also had lots of guests hosts over the years. The only two that come to my mind are Tom Bergeron and Steve Harvey though.

I would still consider Al Roker and Ricki Lake as hosts of Family Feud. They may not have hosted in the main run of Family Feud, but they were primary hosts of the special run of Family Feud. Richard Dawson also hosted a special run of Family Feud as well as the main run.

I'll agree there, they were the primary hosts of the special run of Feud. Roker and Lake that is.

Counting Al Roker as a host of Family Feud is like counting Rikki Lake as the official hosts of Family Feud. The only guest hosted, just like we have in current seasons of "Millionaire"

Acey Deucey has 4. I'm sure somewhere down the road, they'll probably revive this show again and they'll get to host #5.

I disagree. Celebrity Feud was a prime time series for NBC and it wasn't a special. A special is a one-time event. Celebrity Feud aired for several Tuesdays during one Summer on NBC. Ricki Lake was a one-time thing, so she should not be counted. If she does, then you'll have to count Sammy Davis Jr.
LMAD '03 was another series and not a special yet.... Celebrity Feud last longed than this series.

I don't even think Celebrity Family Feud is on the episode guide of Family Feud, or counted in the number of episodes since 2009. Al Roker still didn't have a season long, 200+ episode contract with the show like John O'Hurley, Steve Harvey etc. John O'Hurley was still going to be the host in the 2008-09 season without a doubt, and they were probably recording those episodes in the Summer of 2008. So it's not like Family Feud was trying different hosts because one was leaving.

Celebrity Family Feud wasn't a series, it was just an event.
