Just got the pdf schedule for June 25-July 1 and posted it on the blog. No changes that I can see, though I only glanced through it. Of course, big changes are coming in August. As always...well, you know.

In looking at the PDF schedule for Friday evening (6/29), I noticed that for the $25K Pyramid block, they will be showing episodes #1107-1110 (orig. aired 12/16-12/19/1986) from 7:00-9:00 PM and then at 9:00 and 9:30, they will show episodes #1121-1122 (orig. aired 1/5-1/6/1987).
So it looks like predictably, they will be skipping the Christmas 1986 week, as well as the week of New Year's 1987. Hopefully come Christmastime, they will air these eps. in the 10:30 AM rotation.
What's the big deal GSN?
They should just air Holiday themed episodes all year round. These are how episodes go out of order. They have holiday themed episodes of Whammy! and Lingo on the schedule all year, but not classics. The only possible way they're doing this is for some Christmas marathon this year of all sorts of game shows
There is good news: They will be showing the 1,000th episode on June 28. It was labeled by Bob Stewart as #1010.
I'm excited for that. It airs a couple days before my birthday
As for the Christmas skippages, it's no big deal to me. Makes them more of a holiday treat in December when that time rolls around.
Slightly off-topic, but didn't GSN do something similar to Super Password, back when they had the entire run on their schedule? I remember they skipped over all 9 episodes from the last two weeks of 1984, but showed them during christmastime.
I wonder why they skipped over the Holiday episodes, considering I've seen Christmas Deal or No Deal episodes in Summer before.

Yeah, because the modern shows are the only ones that should be allowed to air holiday episodes whenever they want.
If it's O.K. for Deal and Lingo to air them, why not everything else? It's not like it'll harm anybody...or people will go "Christmas in June? That's not right!".
Christmas is on a Tuesday this year. Hopefully GSN will have a Christmas themed marathon in prime time on Monday night (Christmas Eve), and then another Family Feud marathon on Christmas Day. Maybe Dawson in the morning, then Modern Feud all afternoon and evening.
But I want to see those episodes of classics eventually.
