Game Show themed episodes of TV shows

When you watched your favorite TV sitcoms did you like the game show themed episodes the best because they were wonderful? For me I always liked the classic Mama's Family episode where Mama goes on Family Feud and because of Mama shouting out the answers they never go to Fast Money and it ends up costing them the game. Pretty classic episode in my mind,
What is your favorite game show themed episode of a sitcom?,

Off the top of my head...Odd Couple on Password and/or Let's Make a Deal; Family Guy on Family Feud; all the Celebrity Jeopardy sketches on SNL, and Cliff Klavan of Cheers on Jeopardy.

I think there was an episode of a CBS sitcom (I forget the name of the sitcom) back in 2006 or 2007 where one of the guys was a contestant on TPIR. It was taped during Bob Barker's final season, if I recall. I heard there was a blonde model seen in that episode. I am pretty sure it wasn't Shane Stirling, as she was on maternity leave at that time. Was it Rachel or Gabrielle?

There was also a Jeopardy skit on The Golden Girls.

It was How I Met Your Mother....Barney believed Bob Barker was his father and went on the show to meet him. I didn't include it earlier because that episode is far from a "favorite"--I always considered the Barker subplot to be kinda lame, and was glad when they finally dropped it and Barney mer his real father.

I loved the episode, but I agree, it was better when Barney met his actual father.

I was in hysterics when he got $1 on the wheel and pushed that guy out of the way. LMAO.

That one episode of Happy Days called Big Money from November 1974. No specific game show, but had something to do with the old quiz show scandals back from the 1950's

Did you ever see the episode of 227 where the character Lester went on Family Feud and won on Fast Money? I saw a snippet of it when the GMC Channel advertised it's new 227 marathons on Saturdays and it featured Richard Dawson as well,

Richard Dawson's version was on an episode of Mama's Family in 1983,Ray Combs's version was on an episode of 227 in 1988. but to be fair their was a reference to Dawson on 227

here's some if not all of the dialogue from that episode of 227:
(i apologize if the dialogue is not accurate with the episode)

    Combs:Pearl!
Pearl:are you going to kiss me Richard?
Combs:Pearl, your thinking of Richard Dawson,
    i'm Ray Combs!
    Pearl:What do you do Ray?
Combs:i'm The Host of The Show!
    Pearl:well,why don't you ask me
    a question?
    Combs:what's your favorite Italian Food?
    Pearl:Neckbones.
Sandraearl, what are you trying to throw the game
Neckbones are not an Italian Food.
Pearl:they are if you stuff them in Ravioli.
Combs: show me an Italian Favorite Ya'll, Neckbones.
    (Strike Indicator sound effect)
    Mary:Great!,ask them another one Ray.
Pearl:you getting on my last nerve Mary!

And in the episode of Mama's Family where Mama goes on Jeopardy she wins a vacation to Hawaii and the episode continued with them on vacation that's right. Mom and I loved that Mama's Family episode too and it was so funny. Great to hear your wonderful feedback on your favorite game show themed episodes of TV shows,

And an episode where they participated in a made-up game show, Grab That Dough. Jim McKrell played the host.

In addition, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air saw Will and Carlton going up against Jazz and Ty on the Double Dare-esque Double Trouble, hosted by none other than Bob Eubanks as himself!

And speaking of Family Feud, in addition to the above mention, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it portion of the opening of one 2001 episode of Scrubs saw the main characters answering the question "Name something that guys want to see the most" with "Boobies," which of course was the number one answer. Hosted by the ever-popular Louie Anderson, to boot.

guys wasn't their a Cash Cab scene on 30 Rock where Tracy Jordan (played by Tracy Morgan) was sitting in the cab and not realizing that he was on tv one time? (not that i watched it of course). also i think that Ben Bailey made an appreance in that episode as well.

and to be sort of fair their was a game show joke on a christmas special of 30 Rock where Tracy Jordan(again played by Tracy Morgan) said to Liz Lemon (played by Tina Fey): well, if all you want is a hug from a black person maybe you should just host "The Price Is Right"!

Yes, that episode was very, very funny!
(Have you ever caught his stand-up comedy routine on Comedy Central? Ben Bailey is hilarious, talking about some more memorable, and unedited, "Cash Cab" moments.)
