I agree with you. It would only make sense if they did it for Father's Day also. Even though, I could care either way. I doubt they will though but, we'll see. Maybe this could be GSN's plan for both Mother's and Father's Day. Or, maybe not. We'll see...

I'm thinking all they'll do is a promo like "play X amt. of slots for dad! and be sure to buy the fathers day oodlectible, only 5000 oodles!"

I won't be doing any GSN promo games anytime soon unless it's a double oodles deal to burn off some of my Wonderwheel spins. I think I have like 62 now. And that's all I can get.

I didn't think they'd do another one so soon. My guess is that the next one will be Labor Day.

I can't believe though, that the promo for today is not compatible with browsers other than Internet Explorer. Seriously? They are still designing games for IE only?

I was kind of curious about that Golf Solitaire game... Oh, well. I guess I miss out on this one.

Just a note about the Golf Solitaire game... some people on a Facebook page that I frequent have experienced a Trojan Virus warning when trying to play this game.

So, maybe run a check on your computer and see if everything's okay... and if you DO have the virus or get the warning, maybe write to World Winner to let them know about it? (I'm totally computer-illiterate so I don't quite know what I'm talking about... just passing on information I have.)

UPDATE: Yeah, there are major problems people are having with this game... not installing, virus warnings... World Winner is screwy in regards to this game and this promotion.

I came over here after reading the posts on the trivia thread. I got the same pop up while I was at the library yesterday and again this morning at work. I always play at the library because GSN messes up my computer at home. This is just another example of why. You'd think the site managers would be more careful about things considering how many people play here daily.

SURE wish some one from GSN would tell us... It's just not worth having our Computers ruined over a few Oodles or tokens! NOT happy at all and it's happening to a lot of people! BTW: This did happen a week or two and I did get a TROJAN!!! took me a few days to get it out and the rest of the stuff that it brought in with it!... BTW: THIS is happening again today// LOOK on the other threads!!! WHAT EVER YOU DO... DO NOT CLICK on the POP UPS!!! Shut it down then run your FULL Computer scans... then go ON MICROSOFT SITE AND GET THEIR FULL SAFTY SCANNER! do it... ALSO Kaspersky has a VERY GOOD FREE Scan as well!... IF you click on the results of the KASPERSKY scan results, it will tell you what is wrong and tell you where it is... I had to down load their FREE tdsskiller (tdss rootkiller removal tool) BUT THAT GOT IT! MALWAREBYTE has another free scanner that got the stuff that the Trojan brought in.... BTW: I can tell exactly when I picked it up.. as I have a great security software on my system.. ALL updates are done daily-sometimes 2x day and Scanning is done 2 times a day by atleast 2 scanners! Just tell everyone NOT TO CLICK on that POP UP that says that it's from Microsoft!

I am mostly impressed with the same scanners, but don't believe, not for one minute, that it's REALLY gone. I got the pop-up...didn't click...ran the scans...banished the boogers...and my hard-drive crashed 6 MONTHS later...my back-up drive got corrupted, too...TOTAL LOSS. The only thing NOT affected was the power-cord. You've gotta think that GSN could better filter, or provide a more secure portal to an affiliate-site that THEY PROMOTE!?!?!?
