How'd I miss this one back during the Fall?
It featured a big haul in the main game but, SQUAT in the bonus round.

$44,200 by one duo in the main game. All before the final spin. Final Spin was worth $6,000 and the couple had $12,000 but, didn't solve. They knew it once their time was gone.

Bonus round was a dud. None of their letters picked were in the puzzle. They would have ONLY won an additional $35,000, to which Sajak made a snarky remark that it was chump change to what their have already won.

It's always unfair at the end of WOF when they Wheel lands on "$5,000" so that each letter towards the end of the main game is $6,000, so it's very easy for someone to catch up if they had been playing badly the whole game.

But they have to get the puzzle too, which I like. WOF could just let them keep that money no matter what happens, which I would disagree with
