GSN ratings for June and second quarter

    From the blog...

TVNewser posted cable rankers for the latest month and quarter. GSN scored very good averages for June: 331K/254K viewers prime time/total day. Thank you, Mr. Harvey. For all of second quarter the averages were still okay but not quite as good: 296K/233K.

Harvey is the king right now, no doubt. It'll be interesting to see how well he does the second run-through (I think he'll be fine).

Steve Harvey reigns, and he won't be slowing down anytime soon.

Perhaps you should practice what you preach, Steve.

    GSN: 2012

First Quarter: Bad (With DWTS, lack of variety)

Second Quarter: Good (return of Chain Reaction, $25,000 Pyramid, and of course Harvey and more Feud put in good time slots).

Looked at the blog too. The month of June really raised the averages.

The overall averages for GSN were pretty much the same in the first quarter as the second. 300K/228K vs. 296K/233K. The network did rank a little higher in the second quarter.

Wow the primetime average was a little better in January, February and March. Probably because The Newlywed Game and Deal or No Deal were doing better in their blocks as I remember. But I think GSN has been a lot better off in late May and June. June had probably been the highest rated month of the year so far in 2012
