Pac-Man? What in the -- how would that even work? Would it be like an Amazing Race type thing?

Probably. Of course, that's really what Match Game is known for, in any country, to a certain extent. Hopefully, though, they won't go the Burger route, censoring every (other) answer.

Probably just someone on a 1980's video game machine yelling and competing against his friend.

It's Canadian game shows, what do you expect?

Good chance it wouldn't make it to air anyway

Eh, I thought it was good. I used to like watching it in reruns on G4, back when the network was still worth watching.

Actually you're right, 1983. 1982-84 was when it was on.

Surprised. Knew it was in the 80's, but ultimately I was thinking late 1980's

Both pretty bad. Don't even know who Starcade made it for two years (1982-84)

Yep, both the Mark Richards and Geoff Edwards runs. Much like modern-day Family Feud, it was one whole run, but the hosts changed.

I can see how. It was very cool for its time.

Right, Mark Richards only lasted 24 episodes. He wasn't exactly the greatest host, especially of Starcade, but he did do some work on Jeopardy! in the 1980s.

...yeesh, and I thought our set screamed '70s. They got a little carried away with it, don't you think?

Maybe hundreds of years ago Canada has some war, but otherwise they've been a really peaceful country. The US/Canadian border is the longest unguarded border in the world. Think about the US who has sent soldiers to the Middle East the past 10 years, and other countries in Asia who are extremely communist that will cause war with us.

Who's willing to cause war with Canada?

    That's just my two cents.

    Meanwhile, back at the thread....

Here is a full episode of "Atomes Crochus". My high school French is failing, but it seems faithful. They add in the MG90 super-match and have a MG90 -style star wheel (the pointer moves). Others have speculated that this set and format will be the Canadian show format and set.

Ugh... I barely made it halfway through the first minute. I never noticed this show when it was on G4, and now I'm glad.

You mean something like Celebrity Squares? I don't know, has Canada done it before?
