question regarding using same username and password at both gsn.com and worldwinner

Hello. I am able to sign in at both gsn and worldwinner using the same username and password. So, for example, when I play a token tournament at worldwinner, my tokens from gsn are available to use. I'm guessing this is the norm.

Here's my question/problem. I'm trying to set up an account for my son so that he can play free games and the games using oodles and tokens. I created a username and password for him at worldwinner and successfully created an account for him. Then, since there was no "home" link for him at the top of the worldwinner page, I went to the gsn.com site and tried to log him in with the same username and password and it told me that the username already exists.

How is it that I can use my same username and password at both sites, but I cannot seem to get it to work for my son's new account?

Michelle, I can't help you, but I am interested in learning the reason for this. I don't know what happened, but suddenly one day, I was required to sign into Cash Competions, even though I was signed in at GSN. And, as in your son's situation, when I am at the World Winner site, there is no home link to take me back to GSN. I've been playing at both sites for years.

To start off with, you son might not be able to play on world winner because they only allow 2 users per computer. To set up his account on world winner, you need to set him up on GSN first, then when you hit the link to play for cash, his GSN name will automatically be logged in.

Be careful dealing with world winner. I bought this computer from a co-worker who used it at work. She apparently had an account with world winner using the company email address. So when I went to log in, using my email address (which is the same as the company email addy), I was told I was creating fraud. I then changed the email address, and then I was told that I had multiple accounts and would not be able to play. I did not have multiple accounts as this was the first account, and only account, I had with world winner. Come to find out, someone used my screen name from another site, and created another account which they were making cash deposits on. So needless to say, I am banned from world winner, for something that isn't my fault, or even at my hands. Just Be Careful.
