    TPIR: Card Game Retired?

What comes to mind is, is it possible that Card Game got retired (or on the road to retirement) and replaced with the newest pricing game, Double Cross? Is that possibly why we've only seen Card Game three times during Season 40, and hasn't been played since February 16?

Hm. I haven't heard anything like this on Wikipedia, or Golden-Road.net. Maybe it's on "hiatus," like Credit Card and Check Game.

    Meaning, yeah, it's probably retired.

Barker's Bargain Bar was on hiatus too.

    Just saying.

Actually, wasn't Barker's Bargain Bar officially retired? I thought that was the case, anyway. Either way, the fact it's back means that really anything can happen at this point. Heck, maybe we can even see Penny Ante again after all.

I think Card Game is still in rotation, it just isn't being played as frequently.

AFAIK, Bł was never officially retired, it was only ever "on hiatus." I think most of us gave it up for retired, however, especially after we heard the set was dismantled.

Penny Ante was on hiatus until Season 36, when Dobkowitz told G-R.net that it was officially gone after numerous false starts of getting it back in the rotation. It won't be coming back. Credit Card and Check Game are still possibilities, however.

Exactly. The fact that it's nearly always won anymore (losses are rare) may have something to do with that.

Makes me wonder if Card Game had the highest win percentage out of all the games played during Season 40?
