    WoF 6/30 (Weekend Edition)

Disappointing BONUS Round with a clueless contestant.

    R S T L N E are already given.

    D, N (whoops already called) Um..... M, C and a Vowel ......E (already called)

Not once but, twice. I don't think a Nervous-ness excuse would fly here. He didn't look it. He was just not paying attention.

Lately, I've seen someone in the main game pick letters already called. I think either Wednesday or Thursdays episode featured multiple instances in just one puzzle. But to have called multiples twice in the bonus round is just plain DUMB.

    Not really.

I've always thought by intentionally calling letters "already in the original package" during the bonus round one can "steal" a few extras seconds to try to figure out the puzzle or possible logical letter combinations. Same strategy goes for taking one's sweet time calling the letters. There seems to be no time limit for that. It amazes me when players just immediately blurt out their three consonants and one vowel without taking their time to figure out logical choices based on what letters are already revealed.

Doubtful. Usually you're just thinking what letters to chose. I've never heard of that. It only gives you another 2 seconds.
