Ode to Video Bingo

When Video Bingo is the game of the day
I'm not really sure that I want to play.

I love my Oodles and want them to grow,
But playing this game is painfully slow.

I don't want to lose tokens they allow me to play
Fun casino games all night and all day.

Less tokens or more Oodles, which do I choose?
I can get stuff with Oodles so the tokens I'll lose.

Video Bingo you're not really fair.
32 balls to cover only 3 squares?

lol I have to agree. Although I don't mind doing a small amount. 250 games is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much even over a month. What I do is I run it while I'm playing something else. That way it minimizes the boredom factor without totally sacrificing my tokens. And of course I play at just 100 tokens so if I get too distracted to check it before time runs out I don't lose much.

It would also help if they made it so if you played 3 cards during one game it would count as 3 games rather that 1 game regardless of how many cards you play.

I barely made it thru the last one with Bingo because it is so boring I put it off till the last possible week. Wish it was on automatic also.

THis one is going to drive me NUTS! ( I know it's not a DRIVE.. Just a SHORT PUTT!) It surely will... makes me hate the GAME of Bingo!!! If it were not for the Oodles...

I agree with you Rose. I didn't play last time when it was for 300 oodles but 1200 is alot to turn down. I really, really, REALLY hate it, though. And it would be much better if playing 3 cards counted 3 as Sassymmmm says; at least it wouldn't take so long.

Im another Video Bingo hater. That game is horrible!!!! I always do the monthly and weekly games but when its Video Bingo, I pass. Its slow even when played on fast. Each game takes about 5 minutes, with the monthly 250 games needed that would be 1250 minutes or almost 30 hours of playing a game I hate.

Wish GSN would listen to its forum members!!!!

Another thing that is irritating about it is that you have to reload it every game, and if you're not careful you can bet 50,000 on one game.

And even though I have complained about it being a guaranteed token drain, losing tokens is not really a problem for me. I lost over 95000 on slots games last month w/ no regrets (of course I was betting around 1000 per spin and would never bet more than 100 per game on bingo).

I'm not a fan of bingo either. But i have to say if you take it daily and play 10 games or so it's not that bad. For those that can afford and don't like the oodles do what i do. Bet 100 oodles see if the first ball is yellow or not then quit the game.

After seeing so many of us complain when it was game of the week I am pretty surprised to see it as game of the month. Maybe we need to smarten up and start writing posts about games we "hate" like Bookworm or Solitaire. If enough of us complain how much was "dislike" a game, I bet that will become game of the month in the near future. I honestly do really love Bookworm and Solitaire games, but if I would complain how I hate the game maybe it would be made game of the month to keep us from getting more oodles. Get it???? Hmmm!!!!!

And, as Game of the Month at 250 games, don't they see how EXTREME it was to play 100 games as Game of the Week? Thank god they didn't make it 400 games for the month.

I might pass on this one. I messed up royally with the last Bejeweled Game of the Month that just ended... I wrote somewhere else that I had played 196 games of the 200 and FORGOT TO PLAY THE LAST FOUR GAMES!!!!!!!!! I lost out on the 1,200... but more than that, I played all those games last month FOR NOTHING!

And hey, there's an example right there... Bejeweled is much faster and easier to exit out of and they only made us play 200 of them for the month. What is it with Video Bingo? Why do they think it's a fast-playing game? IT'S NOT!

And brenfore, I couldn't agree more. I don't know why on earth they don't count three cards played as three games played. It's the same amount of tokens spent... there are no ads on these games... WHY DO THEY CARE? In fact, it actually takes time AWAY from us playing games that DO have ads.

I'm sorry but what i highlighted is false. It takes maybe 10 minutes to do 10 a day. You don't have to play the whole game to get credit. If you have the tokens to waste,like i pointed out in my earlier post, you can complete this with ease if you play some each day. If you are low on tokens and need the win then i totally see why you hate this so much. I only play casino games when i can win oodles from them. I wait on the first ball. If it's yellow ,prize ball, i see if it's on my card. If it is or isn't i quit the game and start another. It's that easy. You don't have to play the whole game to get credit.

As to why they pick bingo so much is the cost imo. They want you to waste them in the hope that you will buy more tokens.
